    Explain me please about Google back-link policy depend on Penguin update?

    Thanks everybody for the attention. I have a PR4 website and it had Domain Authority 33 before the last Domain Authority update. But unfortunately it is now only 23 tough I managed many blogrolls , manual social bookmarks and huge & quality social sharing. But my site penalized. I am feeling hopeless at the moment. Please explain about Penguin in detail. Thanks.

    Sorry to hear that, that drop is rough. Penguin specifically targets link quality and pattern rather than link count - so if a lot of your backlinks came from low-quality sources (spammy blog comments, link farms, over-optimized anchor text repeated too often), that's usually the trigger, not the social bookmarks/blogrolls themselves necessarily. Worth checking your link profile in a tool like Ahrefs or Search Console's link report to spot anything that looks unnatural (same anchor text repeated hundreds of times, or a spike of low-quality links all at once), and disavow those specifically rather than assuming everything you built is the problem.
