What a Vetted Seller badge means

Some sellers here carry a badge next to their name and a small seal on their listing thumbnails. It is not advertising and it cannot be bought - it rests on a seller's own record of delivered orders and buyer ratings, it is checked again on a schedule, and it is taken away if that record does not hold up. This page explains exactly what is behind it.

The two badges

Vetted Seller

Normally awarded automatically: the seller's delivery record cleared every threshold below, and an AI review then read their actual written buyer feedback looking for signs the record is not genuine. Our team can also grant it directly in exceptional cases, but a badge granted that way is held to the same thresholds at its next check and comes off if the record does not support it. No seller can apply for it or request it.

Human-Verified Seller

Everything above, plus someone on our team has personally read that seller's feedback and agreed with the automated verdict. It can only be added on top of a badge that was earned automatically, so it always means a second opinion on a record that already passed on its own.

On a listing thumbnail the same two tiers appear as a small circular seal in the corner. It describes the seller who posted the listing, not that individual listing.

How a seller earns it

To earn it automatically, a seller has to clear all of the following first. There is no application and no fee.

• At least 10 orders delivered to the buyer, including ones the buyer has not yet marked complete.
• At least 10 buyer ratings, averaging 95% or better.
• At least 90% of their finished orders delivered rather than cancelled.
• An account at least 60 days old, in good standing and not restricted.
• A verified identity on file.
• Orders a seller placed with themselves, and ratings they wrote on their own work, are excluded from all of the above - they count for nothing here.

Only once all of that passes is the seller sent to an AI review, which reads the real feedback buyers left them and looks for patterns that suggest the record was manufactured rather than earned. It can decline a seller who passed every number, and when it is unsure, the answer is no.

Keeping it

• Every badge, however it was granted, becomes due for a fresh check 7 days after its last one, and is judged against the seller's current record rather than the one they had when they earned it.
• If a seller falls below any threshold, the badge comes off automatically at the next check.
• Our team can also grant or remove one by hand, and every grant and removal is logged.

What it does not mean

We would rather be plain about the limits of this than have you read more into the badge than it can carry.

• It is not a guarantee. It says a seller has delivered well so far, not that your particular order will go well.
• It is not an endorsement of any individual service. We review listings separately, before they go live.
• It is not a judgement of the quality of anyone's work or of the results you will get. It looks at whether a seller delivers and how their buyers rated them, not at the work itself.
• A seller without the badge is not a bad seller. Most simply have not traded here long enough yet.
