What is Google Page Rank ?
Its a score, given by Google to every website, it shows the importance of that website following a complicated algorithm. It can have a value that rages from 0 to 10.
10 being the highest score.

I think the scoring given by Google is based on the ranking that your site gets in the search list. Correct me if I’m wrong in my understanding that the Page Rank is high as you said 10 when it appears as number 1 in the search list. I think the Page Rank is for the exclusive use of Google and it does not affect the other search engines. But I have read some discussions that Page Rank is not being used by Google anymore so that means it has no more value in terms of SEO.
Google page rank is nothing but an algo of ranking which is given by google and their will be importance of ranking by a Page Rank. The value of PR can be between 0 to 10, the higher rank u get the better importance would be given to your blog/website.
I guess the Google Page Rank is not being used anymore. I was confused with the Page Rank because in my mind, there is the ranking of the website in the search list. For example, you search your site and you see that the link is on page 1 and number 5. That’s pretty good. So what has Page Rank got to do with the search list ranking? Anyway, since Page Rank is not being used by Google anymore then let’s leave it at that.
Google PageRank is a representation of how much authority Google's robots have assigned to your page. There are a number of factors which influence it, but the two biggest ones are the age of the site and the number of links to it along with the PageRank of those sites. assignment square
