    Do you remember HI5?

    Hi, do you remember the socializing site Hi5? I remeber this site very well because it was the first socializing site I have joined, after that i joined Tagged another socializing site, and i know that both these sites are still active. I haven't log in on any of them because i forgot the log in details, but i think it would be nice to see my profile i had there, and see how many friends i have now. I will try to recover my log in details and see what is new there!
    What about you.....have you been a member there?

    Oh, I remember both of those. Used them before Facebook. Oh man, the time flies by so fast, its almost like it was yesterday when I was using those. I wonder how popular they are nowadays.

    I was thinking that with Hi5, you were referring to the kids' TV show but then you said social media and I remembered. I don't remember signing up for it though, I think because it wasn't very popular in my country at the time. Myspace was also big back then but it wasn't so popular here. What I had back then was friendster, it was great at the time and I do have pictures there that have probably been deleted since facebook bought them. I wish I could get them back just for the memories.

    I was on Hi5 back in 2007 and it was my first social networking site that I joined. Now Facebook reached 2 billion users today so I don't think many of us have time to use Hi5 again. By the way Hi5 is still active though but definitely not many people know about it. I would love to see my account on Hi5 but I actually don't even remember which email id I used it for login on Hi5.

    I had never even heard of it before. It's actually amazing how many huge sites there are out there that you will never know even existed. Take Megaupload.com for example. Many people today have never heard of it, despite the fact that it was once a top file hosting site, before the authorities siezed the domain.

    I think I sort of remember this site... if I am correct it used to be extremely popular a few years back? I remember that my friends tried to get me to join it and kept spamming me with those invitational emails, was annoying Do you remember HI5?

    But, I have never used the site so I honestly can't say if it is/was any good. Is it still popular today? I haven't heard it mention in ages. And Tagged - never heard of that one, there are far too many social media websites. It is impossible to keep up!

    I remember Hi5 and Tagged they are almost same they use same structure and settings they look like twins lol I do remember them well as if I used them yesterday and yeah I used the two back then but I had to unsubscribe because these sites were sending me endless messages suggesting me people I might know near me, plus facebook came and it was more interesting than Hi5.

    Hi friends, yup it was like yesterday when we were active members on those sites. Time is passing by, and something new comes up, now is Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. and I am sure you are on most of them. Who knows, what will come up in few years, maybe then we will be in the same situation, remembering with love about Facebook....ha ha ha!

    Oh wow..yes! It's seems like a lifetime away. Hi5 was very popular especially with the younger age interested in meeting people. It was the cool thing then to have an account with Hi5 Do you remember HI5?

    So my question is this: what happens to the intellectual property of folded start-ups like Hi5? Does it get tossed into the bin or sold to a company like Facebook?

    Yes, i have been a member in the past. I don't know whether the profile still exists. Ever since the advent of facebook, HI5 went into oblivion. I wonder what marketing mistake they made, or is it the initial owners sold it or what? I'll like to read about it.

    This is what I was using prior to Facebook. I remember it being a very good site and there were online games that I was playing on there. I completely forgot about HI5 until you mentioned it today. I wonder if this site is still operational. I will try to check it out as I am growing curious now.

    Oh my God, this gave me the flashbacks! Yes, I remember using Hi5, but I used to have it for socializing, just to meet people around and speak about music, movies, all kind of stuff. Eventually I got bored of it, they sent me a lot of junk mail to my inbox and I decided to close my account. Also, new socials came out like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the rest is history. Thanks for bringing out good memories.

    Of course, I remember, It was my first social media account. It was cool you could see how many visits you had and you could comment on your friend's pages. Also, you could personalize your page with themes. But then Facebook came out and it was so much better.

    Probably I have not started using the internet during the days of HI5 or maybe I focused all my time on understanding how Facebook really works. I would have to take a look at it soonest to see how the page looks like.
