Is it allowed to add Adsense to a Wordpress blog?
I can not see any reason why Google would not allow you to use Adsense on your wordpress site. I have seen many sites using wordpress who use Google Adsense. As long as you state the link where you are placing your adsense ads and you follow rules set out by Google when using Adsense you should have no problems at all.
Are you sure you want to delete this post?
Is it a self hosted WordPress blog (ie; your own site using WordPress CMS) or you are talking about WordPress.com hosted site? (Ie; yoursite.wordpress.com)?
I'm not entirely sure about the second option but I think you can still. However, there are a few rules and restrictions that you'll have to abide by when doing so. If you check here about monetizing your site on WordPress they give an overview of those rules and restrictions.
I think the general rule of thumb is that if you are going to use Adsense on your wordpress.com site then they want you to upgrade to a premium WordPress.com account and you can't go OTT on the ads as well. They are very touchy and finicky about ads on there and don't like people posting content just for the sake of showing ads.
Where as if you are using a self-hosted WordPress site on your own hosting account you can pretty much do as you want within the rules and regulations of Adsense that is.
Thank you idealmike, i really appreciate it.
No wordpress do not allow if want to add adsense then you ned to upgrade to premium plan or move to self hostef wordpress.org
you can do this for free in blogger.com
You can use adsense on self-hosted blogs, for instance, if you are using Wordpress as content management system from wordpress.org, you cna use any types of ads. However, you cannot use adsense on wordpress free blog, the blog that you get from wordpress.com.
I don't think you can do that with free domain WordPress but with a self hosted one it possible. so check with the terms and conditions from Google before applying for it.
