    What did Google say about the admission of Bing that it was copying the result of Google? Isn’t it outrageous that a competitor would copy the output of a competing search engine? Although there are news reports about this issue but I don’t think Google will take it sitting down. But I guess the issue is put to rest with a silent agreement between the 2 giant companies.

    Not sure. All the stories i found online about it, said no to the lawsuit. But maybe more recently a lawsuit happened. Though really, Google snoops on all us, with their intrusive tracking behavior. Why are they so mad that Bing would snoop on them to get better search results?

    Well, Bing is snooping Google's own results. Maybe they are mad because of that.

    Google said they were going to do a lawsuit so I am sure they will sooner or later, but with the major updates Google is suppose to be coming out with I'm sure they dont have time. Bing will never be able to catch up to where Google is today unless Google just does something totally stupid to make all the users leave.

    Google isn't run by a few people so "being busy" is not an excuse. I don't think their lawyers are also updating the search engine's algiorithm...

    Pardon me for this contradictory opinion. If Microsoft had admitted that it was copying Google for its search engine, I don’t think Google will just let it pass. Of course, that is a big issue considering that Bing is poised to be the best competitor of Google. It is logical for Google to raise a howl and sue Microsoft for that violation of spying and copying. And since that issue did not land on the papers so I guess it was just a hype to get the attention of the internet users.
