If the site has received a Manual Action from Google then it is necessary to fix the problems identified and then submit a reconsideration request.

You need to ensure that your website follows the Google Webmaster Guidelines:

You can submit a reconsideration request here:

Yeah when that happens, your only option is the Manual Reconsideration Request. You need to show you've done as much as possible to identify and clean up what the penalty was given for in the first place. Your site will be manually reviewed by a member on the Google web spam team. But if your site is just an affiliate site that doesn't really have any value to it and isn't a very good quality site such as thin sites with very little content and value, or cloaked images with hidden text or keyword stuffing etc, there is a chance that they wont remove the penalty regardless to how much clean up work you've done.

You say that "Website is recently banned for unknown reason." But the reason would be stated in Google Webmaster Tools. If you don't use that for your site yet, you should add your site to it and then wait. It should show you what the penalty is for.

Google actually provide a list of common reasons why manual actions that are taken on the Manual Actions Report page. Making sure your site doesn't fall under any of these categories is crucial if you want to pass the manual review. If it means making some serious big changes to your site then so be it! Especially if your site was doing well before the penalty was applied. Change the theme/look, content and layout. Hire an expert to help you if you can't manage it yourself or get opinions from other webmasters on webmaster forums etc.

Fortunately, once a penalty has been applied, it will show in Google Webmaster Tools what that penalty is and for why. This will usually be enough to go on to address and fix the issue so that will really be all you have to do and then submit the request and wait. I've heard that the waiting time can be quite a while though because there are literally hundreds of sites receiving penalties and submitting reconsideration requests every day and there are only so many people on the Google web spam team that can look into it for you. Don't submit the request again if you haven't been reviewed for at least a month. Too many requests will just bog down the system and make them take even longer.

Good luck!

Gee, I didn’t know that there is a reconsideration request for Google to remove the ban on a site. But maybe it will depend on the type of case for banning the said site. For honest mistake like keyword stuffing maybe it will take a short time for Google to unlock the site for eligibility to Google Search. But for other grave cases maybe the ban will stay.
