Keyword diversity has become the most important thing after Google's Panda updates. You should create backlinks on a variety of keywords. Also backlinks should look natural.

Pardon me if I say I am confused by the title of this discussion. I don’t see any connection of the keyword to the backlink. I may be wrong but that’s my understanding. The backlink is the link of your website that you post in another website while the keyword is the word that you include by tagging when you upload the new content. I cannot find their connection in that definition of mine.
