Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

I've written up various discussions that talked about how you can be a consultant and make a great deal of money.  The only thing that holds people back from doing this is that it takes a great deal of work to do it right and be successful.  Sure, there are plenty of consultants out there that fail, mainly because they didn't realize they'd be working 60+ hours a week, which is one of the reasons I thought of this free consulting system you can use to make money!

I'm sure you're saying to yourself, or yelling at me, "How the hell do you make money when offering a free consulting service!?!?!?!?!".  The answer to that is simple... Affiliate Marketing!

You need to know what you're doing, this isn't something you can BS your way through, mainly because you will be getting contacted in real time and need to know the answers to a persons problems right then and there in order for them to trust you enough to click through a link you give them lol.

How can you be a free consultant and profit?
As I said above, affiliate marketing paired up with free consulting is what this discussion is all about.  You'll help people out for free and give them links to services or products that you vouch for, which these people will likely buy because they now trust you, and you'll make a commission on the sale.  If you decide to go into the SEO consulting area, you can always refer people to SEOclerks and make a nice commission on every purchase they make Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

One of the beautiful things about this is you can refer people to a product or service that is a little above the average price range and they will buy it because they've begun to trust you and know you're leading them down the right path.  Of course, you'll need to know what you're referring them to and have used it yourself before you can know if it's a good service or product.  You use before you refer because you want to know people are going to have a great time before you send them there, this will reduce chargebacks and returns, which boosts your sales Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

How to find potential clients
People love free stuff, especially the ones on a limited budget, and this is why they will gravitate towards you since you're not charging them Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount  I like using Facebook ads as well as adwords and Bingads to bring people in for my consulting service.  Facebook is more preferred for this due to the business page app I can use and talk directly with people via chat, I also use tawk.to on my website and that goes right to my phone as well.

I will run a PPC campaign, bid low to see where I can get my ads to land, then boost them up slightly in order to see where the optimal CPC is for my budget.  Once I find the optimum CPC, I let it sit there for a few weeks until my CPC starts to drop naturally and my relevancy starts to increase.  Over time, I'll be paying around 30% less than when I started and getting more clients coming in each week Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

Should you tell them how you make money?
YES!  If you don't tell these people how you make money, you might actually get banned from the affiliate program you're using.  If you're using ShareASale or any other marketplace like that, you need to publish something on every page where you have a link that says you may make a commission on any sale that is made after clicking a link.

Most affiliate programs don't want to think their affiliates are tricking the customers into clicking.  This is why you need to publicly say you're making money through sales, but it's not coming out of their own pocket Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount  You need to explain that you're making money from the companies that you refer them to, and you only refer companies that you've used over the years and trust yourself, which will almost always boost your sales because if someone intended to purchase the service or product from all of the free advice you've given them, they'll want to make sure you're getting something in return.

Does this work in any niche?
Of course!  The only reason it wouldn't work in any niche out there is if the affiliate programs within the niche aren't top notch.  Shareasale and Clickbank may not have something you're looking for, but individual websites might have their own programs that could work for you.  It's up to you to figure out what the best programs, services, and products are to promote and make money off of from referrals.  If you don't have any of this before you start out your free consulting service, you'll set yourself back and that's never a good thing.

Know what you're going to promote, know it's a good thing to push, and your referrals will buy it if you give them all the information you can Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

In conclusion
Not many people are doing free consulting out there, mainly because it does take a decent amount of work, but there are ways to automate websites and push referrals through you links without taking advantage of them.  Take your time researching your niche and figure out what's the best thing to promote, or the best 10 things to promote, then set up your website and start promoting on Facebook with a PPC ad.  Get super targeted and be very responsive to anyone that contacts you.  Be sure to give them a massive amount of advice and always ask THEM questions.  Don't wait for them to ask you, they might not know what to ask, and this is why free consulting could be a big thing in the coming years for affiliate marketing Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

Actually my does that, he has a successful YouTube channel and he answers questions about online work then he posts his affiliate link so the one asking for a job would use his affiliate link and that would earn him some affiliate Income. The thing here is the company would never dupe him and would always pay him his affiliate earnings because he has a YouTube channel. Unlike stand alone affiliates who are likely to be scammed by companies by not declaring the correct number of members who joined using his link.

I think it makes sense actually. I think that you can ask for paymoent from those you can help increase their traffic and profits. It is just one of the ways to make money on the internet. I think it is a great one at that!

I don't do affiliate marketing because it doesn't pay good without a YouTube channel, and I don't really have the time to spend time creating one because it really takes time and a great deal of effort to create, maintain and get subscribers to a YouTube channel.

I do a lot of offline consultancy work where I charge a good amount on a variety of services in different niches.

Right now I have a client who doesn't know how to transfer money from his bank in UK to his local bank here and I'm going to give him an online option so I'll becsetting up his PayPal account and others and would get 2 percent on all his transfers. That means for every £1000 he's going to transfer I'll get £20.

A YouTube channel isn't required to be successful with affiliate marketing. It helps since it's another traffic source, but it's not a requirement to be successful.

I've talked to plenty of millionaires who made their money through affiliate marketing, and most of them have crazy setups with hundreds of traffic sources, and YouTube is just one of those.

Expand you mind and you'll see that the big platforms aren't the main place that will bring in a lot of sales Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount I actually paired up my consulting service with a strategic adwords campaign and I make a decent amount from it just to answer questions that come to me in the form of a text or chat Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

That is a good revelation to me in what you said about a Youtube video for the affiliate marketing. Does that mean to say a video is more convincing for promoting the product? Maybe so because the video can clearly show how to use the product especially for electronic products that need to be assembled and installed. Maybe I have to look into that avenue of affiliate marketing with a video.

I recently joined forums where members ask a lot of questions but also offer advice and share their experiences. If you are active in various forums you are often giving out free advice (sort of). It's not really free though because the forum owners pay you a small amount for being an active member. It's almost free because if your fee for advice from a consultant would be significantly higher. You could also blog on Quora and freely offer your advice and expertise.

I mention the forums and Quora because people may not approach you directly but these online communities are places people often go to when looking for valuable advice that won't cost them an arm and a leg. On these sites, there are places where you can place your links to direct others to your business for more valuable advice (like in your signature or an author's bio or a profile).

What is your opinion of this strategy?

Quora is a great place to pull in clients. The only problem is that a lot of people are starting to catch onto what Quora is and they are flooding it with canned responses to everything slightly related to what they have written up already.

I was writing responses to everything I could get in my industry and quickly noticed one guy posting the same responses to anything he could. The posts were slightly edited at the beginning to seem relevant, but after the first 50 words it was just a copy and paste job. What he posted was well written, but he posted it 100+ times in a day lol Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount I never went back to see if his posts were removed, but since they were "relevant" I don't think they were removed.

The best thing to do is create a channel in YouTube and create YouTube videos on different niches which helps people like online jobs, DIY, health products etc and provide your affiliate links in this way all the people who would like and subscrib to your channel would also hit your link and you would then get a flow of continuous affiliate income.

Product reviews are a big thing as well. If you can create your own image on YouTube, people will subscribe and get notified with every new video you post. The big bucks come in when you start building up your subscribers on any platform Be a free consultant and still profit a good amount

I have seen some of the people offering the free WordPress install option. And they offered it through the affiliate link gig. So that sort of concept does work. But not sure how much is the profit margin. And how the time spent and how the profit comes to the account. Here there are lot of variables that may go wrong. So for side hustle this can be a good thing. And you can find value out of that.

The problem with this concept is that you would rely on Affiliate earnings and that my friend is a big problem since as everyone knows 90 percent of affiliate sites are cons. Since the affiliate cannot check the people who used his link, site owners just cons them by crediting 1 out of 5 hits, if your lucky, because most do not credit earnings at all.

I want to get into SEO consulting in the next few years as my experience grows and I develop more and more business connections. I'd probably do some free consulting work once in a while if the payout is somehow relevant, but my main objective is to land big SEO consulting contracts where I just come over, review everything, create an audit, create an SEO plan, explain how they can fix the problems and get out.

I want to stop doing the boring and repetitive part of SEO and as my career advances, I really feel this will be the case since I gathered a lot more experience compared with junior or even senior leveled SEOs.

When the virus was just starting to show itself to the world, there was one virus called Sayha Watpu that was infesting computers that are using floppy diskettes for the system disk. The said virus will lock the diskette to make it appear as full although it’s not. My husband was able to find a way to neutralize the virus. His article was published in a major newspaper here that included our phone number for free consultation. He had helped so many callers, I think more than a hundred, and it did not bring him any material profit. But perhaps it gave him a good karma that later on job openings were chasing him.

The newspaper should have paid him for publication of his article, and I guess there was a way to profit there but since it said free consultation, then that chance was gone. I think it would have been very profitable especially since it was at a time when only a few people know stuff about computers.

When you have actually no previous references or work experience, it is going to be difficult to get customers for certain. That being stated, when you have the abilities, nothing is preventing you. You may do the tried and examined technique of offering your services free in trade for a fine testimonial. Flip the age from a terrible to a wonderful. Inform them you honestly understand social media due to the fact you’re so young.
