It would be interesting to share which social marketing actions you daily do and which ones are most effective to promote your business.
Well, I concentrate on my facebook fan page. I make a post with the new article I'm writing daily. Beside this, I post a few pictures, alongside a few lines about the text. Works pretty well, as I get a lot of likes and shares.

When it comes to promotional activities, it is Facebook thatis my best choice. Of course, you need to have a sizable number of active friends, they are those users who log in everyday, who posts everyday and who reacts to your posts. But since you cannot post on your timeline business promotions frequently so you can use a Facebook page for that purpose. Post on the page all the details of your business and on your timeline, you can post a link to that page. Limit the posting on your timeline to once a day only.
I am present on over a dozen social networking and social bookmarking sites, however, I am active on only a few. I use facebook and twitter daily and use LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google plus once or twice a week. I regularly share my contents on facebook and twitter. I have half a dozen facebook pages associated with my products, business, and websites, and I market my products through these pages.
I share all my published post on my social media accounts. I instruct my friends to visit my blog like the post, share the post and comment on the blog..For twitter they should help retweet my post,For instagram I mostly post videos and hash tags to help spread the videos.
I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn daily. Google+ is roughly once a week. Pinterest is once in a blue moon. YouTube is just for watching videos occasionally. Right now, Facebook is providing the most social traffic, and Twitter is a distant second. All the others are weak in comparison.
What do you share on LinkedIn. I have shared my articles on LinkedIn but do not get traffic. When I am sharing, I always keep in mind the nature of the site and the type of audience. However, my sharing on LinkedIn did not earn me a good result.
I use mainly Facebook and YouTube for my marketing activities. YouTube comments is a good way to setup my links also channel sponsorships helps a lot to get my brand out. While Facebook is the best social media platform to get traffic from.
