Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here's why I do it!

Since you are here on this website chances are you have your own website, or possibly even more than one? Maybe you are a blogger or perhaps you have an online store... we are all after the same thing - traffic, rankings and of course money!

I have 4 websites, 3 I am blogging on full time and the 4th website I am busy with my planning and hope to launch it next year. It is just set on "coming soon" for now!

I run my websites all on my own, I do almost all my own SEO work, content writing and marketing.. but I do hire SEO freelancers regularly and here's why!

Hiring an SEO Freelancer is cheaper in the long run

Yes I really believe this!

Getting services from an SEO company works out really expensive and you could be tired into a contract that you might find hard to get out of it you are not happy with the work.

Having your own staff is always costly, ask anyone that has staff. I know I will probably never hire another staff member ever again!

I only buy what I need!

This is the thing that I love the most about hiring an SEO freelancer. I do almost all the work myself and there are just a few little things that I can’t get to.

These things that I can’t get to are made up of three categories: things I don’t have time to get to but I could do if I had the time, things I don’t want to do because they are tedious and I have better things to do with my time, things that are out of my expertise and I want someone that is better than me to do these jobs.

I have more control over what SEO work is done

You can choose specific services to close the gaps I mentioned above and each time your order a service you control exactly what keyword you are targeting, what types of links you are looking for and which urls of your website are being juiced up with SEO.
I can monitor the performance of each service

Something I love is that at the completion of a service I receive reports and I can
monitor the success of the services I have ordered.

I can use a different SEO freelancer for different jobs!

Each person has his or her strengths and weaknesses. One person cannot be the best at all SEO functions. I use a different person for content writing, for backlinking SEO services and for social media services.

I can spend time finding the perfect SEO freelancer for each job.

SEO freelancers work for themselves – they are driven to succeed

If you hire a huge SEO company to take care of your SEO chances are the employees that do the majority of your work get paid a salary. This is not a bad thing as such, but it is very different dealing directly with a person that is being paid directly by you.

Someone that needs your positive review and recommendation. Someone that is highly invested in providing you with quality SEO services and having you as a return customer.

Pretty good write up Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here

I always hire people to do SEO, article writing, posting, etc. for me because I just don't have the time to do it on my own Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here

Outsourcing your work is a HUGE time saver since you don't have to do the work yourself and you can actually double, or triple your money because you can focus on other aspects of your business Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here

When I'm setting up a website I'll always do the on page optimization myself as well as the initial content generation. After the website begins to profit, if it profits, then I will hire a writer to constantly add high quality content that is optimized. I usually pay a little more for these posts because they are 1,000+ words and perfectly optimized, but they're worth it. One of my websites is in the business finance niche and my writer does around 10 to 30 posts a month on it. I pay him between $150 and $450 per month to do this content and if anyone signs up for the services listed on the website, I make much more than what I invested Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here Now I won't get a ton of leads, but I will get 1 or 2 Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here I would outsource even more work to my writer but he's already stretched thin and still takes my 10 to 30 1,000+ word articles Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here

Outsourcing makes the world go round and everyone is happy... usually lol.

The one thing I've found with outsourcing my work, that I don't like, is that someone will find a good service on a platform and then post the exact same thing on the same platform and increase the price. They won't even edit the service description, they'll just do a copy/paste job and increase the price lol Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here So you'll have to do a bit of searching in order to find the original seller just so there aren't 100 middle men all asking questions down the line until it gets to the original seller.

Oh yes very good point there Razzy. I also want to deal directly with the person that does the actual work and not just from a financial point of view, it can often be a little problem of "broken telephone". Plus communication takes longer because it has to go through someone.

I find the best way to check if someone is doing the work themselves is to the person first. Anyone that takes too long to respond to my queries is out, as is someone that doesn't answer questions to my satisfaction. Very often the middle man will take too long to respond or not offer an adequate answer.

Yes I agree. Hiring a freelancer is not only cost effective but also a time saver. The main problem is until you manage to find someone trustworthy. As you said when one is working as a freelancer he should be doing his best to offer a great service in order to increase his chances of making more money and getting repeat orders. However not all freelancers can be trusted. Until you find someone reliable you might end up paying for sloppy work, but once you do you can reap the benefits of outsourcing your work and focusing on the more important stuff.

Oh yes of course, this is one of the things I found terribly hard in the beginning, especially when I didn't understand SEO properly. I was very nervous to buy any services from anyone. But as I learned more I found it easier to sift through the sellers.

Although you may buy services from a bum seller once, you are not commited to buy from that person again and you most likely have not spent too much money.

Cool advantages Lynne, I believe you hit them all! What is really cool about marketplaces like SC from the buyer's perspective is the feature to decline an order if you don't like it. SEO contracts of digital agencies have all kind of loopholes and can basically escape with delivering low quality backlinks for example and the buyer can't do much about it.

On marketplaces like SC you can always refuse the order and if the buyer doesn't deliver what he/she has promise you can 100% get you money back and try again with another seller.

Yes Cristian I like that feature and I forgot to mention it!

I have only used that once and I don't use that lightly! A seller marked the order as completed when hardly anything was done. It was a huge disappointment. I contacted the seller and gave him a chance to rectify it but I never even got a response back so I rejected the order and I contacted SeoClerks support.

The issue was resolved very fast in my favor and my payment was returned to me. There is a lovely level of safety here for both the sellers and the buyers which I enjoy.

I love this extensive review on why freelancers are the best choice when hiring someone to help you with your company. Basically its like having a sub contractor doing only what you need when you need it. I love how you explained it in this way showing the cost benefits. I love how you explained that individual services can be purchased and monitored. When you hire an employee its almost impossible to keep track of everything they do while on payroll. The other thing that i realize from what you said is that some people may not have all of the required skills that you need. Many jobs have to hire multiple people to get a team necessary to handle all of the jobs. With freelancers you can choose people who are experienced in just the fields you need at the time. This was well written and much appreciated. Thank You for sharing.

It is a pleasure Jkeyz2 and while I know of some people that have excellent SEO companies, I feel they are better suited to corporate giants Hire an SEO Freelancer – Here And SEO freelancers are more suitable for me and my one lady business.

I love this marketplace, it offers absolutely everything that I need.... I just wanted to share the benefits that I find hiring freelancers.

I guess it is practical to hire an SEO freelancer for a particular work only so that you can assess the work vis-à-vis the effect. For instance you need backlinks so you hire a freelancer to build your backlinks. Let’s say you only need 10 backlinks from 10 sites then that is easy to identify and monitor. Hiring an SEO company will surely cost you more so it is not an option for small sites.
