How do I improve my seller image to buyers as a level one with no sales?

Hey, I'm Nextant

I offer services in graphic design and video editing. Both marketings where your seller image is everything. I put a lot of work into making my services about an hour and some each. The only problem is no matter how good my services look buyers are always so picky with customer reviews and ratings.

How am I supposed to get these without one sale? Right, you can't. I don't understand how your supposed to get a sale just starting.

All of my services are very high end and customer oriented. I have also create a service for buyers seeing if that would change anything but it hasn't.

I'm looking for advice and changes I should make to my services as a beginner to improve my image to you buyers!

Please nit-pic my services! How do I improve my seller image to buyers as a level one with no sales?

Since you are offering graphics designs, providing examples of your work is very important so make sure that you have lots of examples of your work on your service page. Since you are new, it may be a good idea to provide services for cheap and then once you get more sales, then you can increase the price again. With graphics design if they see a cheap price tag and high quality examples, then you will get sales. Remember to check the position of your service in the categories and use the bumps when not on page 1. You may also want to check out this guide on how to become a power seller.

It's not really worthwhile offering $1.00 services, unless it only takes a minute or two for fulfillment. Just considering how you are offering an artistic service, which assumes that will require actual creative effort (not like a $1.00 Facebook likes service you can just load into a service panel and make an easy dollar). And, I understand why new sellers want the $1.00 services so bad, to build up those positive ratings, but many buyers don't leave a rating at all, so you end up getting paid almost nothing for a service you could just as easily have charged more for. Speaking as a seller who tried the $1.00 services, I spent at least as much time, writing for those one dollar buyers as someone who was willing to pay $10.00. Eventually, I just used the $1.00 as a sampler - such as three forum posts $1.00 and that gave a nice demo. A good idea for anyone wanting a 'sample', just refer them to your $1.00 service, once you get it. But seriously don't build your business on dollar services, not when you can produce such high quality, you're just selling yourself short. People will pay more for good quality graphics. Just focus on offering enough high quality content for that $5 or whatever price you are charging and you'll beat out the cheapos who are scratching around in the dirt for that dollar.

Oh wow, I was thinking under selling myself would help get more sales in early so people would take risk with me because of no sales. Very good idea with the one dollar example, but I'm not sure what you mean by demo, when the buyer could take that and just use it and you would be undersold?

I agree with Beverly, don't undersell yourself. I am a buyer and if something is too cheap I assume it is because it is a bad service.

Rather have a market related price and then have a sale or something to generate some interest. This might also help you get some return buyers if you do a very good job How do I improve my seller image to buyers as a level one with no sales?

Very nice looking services! I may use you in the future.

Posting design and graphics related topics here can help buyers find you. If they search and find your thread, then click your profile (as I just did), it will lead to more sales.

First: On this service https://www.seoclerk.com/Graphics/...for-your-service you say "That's my question to you when I will design three for only five dollars. That's a dollar a graphic!" But if someone is getting 3 designs for $5... That's not $1 per design. Editing this to be more accurate will result in more sales because just this little thing can change a persons mind when purchasing someone online.

Second: The sales pitch you use it well written, but people buying services on freelancer websites don't usually read much and just want the nitty gritty of what is going to happen after they pay for your services. Say what you will do and how much it will cost. Get right to the point and you'll see more sales coming in. Keep the sales pitch you have not, just add onto it with your exact service details and you'll get a few more sales from people who are on the fence or just browsing.

Third: Post around, like how you did here ;) and be sure to link back to your service pages or profile. You'd be amazed at how many people will click through to your service page to check out your service and buy because they see it isn't expensive and they can get something to benefit them How do I improve my seller image to buyers as a level one with no sales?

Fourth: This is optional, but will get a few additional sales over time. You can do a buy 3 get 1 free type option since people usually have more than one website they will need to promote or fancy up. I personally have around 20 websites and each of them has a facebook profile, G+ page, twitter profile, etc. How do I improve my seller image to buyers as a level one with no sales?

Fifth: Add some images of your work in the product description. This will help show your work because some people won't wait for the slider to cycle through in order to see everything. By having your work in the description you'll make a few more sales. Be sure to only add the best work you've done. They may all be good, you just have to use the images that pop and have custom images on them.

So I checked out your services and noticed the following:
1. There are some issues with the way the sentences are structured, nothing major but a better written description could help.
2. I noticed that you wrote 'if you're a low level seller like me' - I would remove that as it is as if you are downgrading yourself. Do not keep pointing out that you are inferior in any way simply because you are a beginner.
3. Advertise your services.
4. Bump your services regularly. If you log in daily you will get a free bump daily.
5. Check WTBs maybe someone is looking for such services and bid there.

Wow, I did not know you got free bumps. Thanks. But it seems whenever someone sees "level one seller" they'd rather go for a lvl 3 and they just wouldn't give me a chance.

You need to start somewhere, we all started at level 1 and got to level 3 eventually. I think for me it took a couple of months. But just be there regularly, possibly daily and do not give up. The key is to offer something that makes you stand out like a relatively lower price, or maybe put your service on sale for a while, or offer a really quick turnaround.

Thanks for the welcome! I have read through your advice and have seen some issues. How am I supposed to keep my response time low? I only check seoclerks once a day because I figure that I do not have any messages or orders.
