What's your biggest time waster right now?

This past few days, I've been computer shopping on eBay and various online websites. I need a more reliable computer (or second computer as a backup). It's taking up a little too much time. I just want to buy something and be done with it. What's your biggest time waster right now? Maybe something that is getting in the way of work or things you would rather be doing?

Maybe you are just taking some personal time off to relax and recharge. This can happen when you don't allow yourself any regular days off or breaks from work. Hopefully you will feel back into your regular routine soon.

Right now I am wasting time by looking at things that I want for Xmas and I just get lost and before I know it an hour has passed.

I need to get an egg timer and set it before visiting Facebook. Sometimes, I just mean to pop into the site for a few minutes to check private messages and half an hour later realize I've gone off on a tangent and then it's hard to get back into the work groove.

My time waster is following up too many forums and downloading crapy programs.

You should scan your computer regularly for malware or adware as many of these programs will contain spyware or keyloggers that can infect your computer and steal your information.

I need to get an egg timer and set it before visiting Facebook. Sometimes, I just mean to pop into the site for a few minutes to check private messages and half an hour later realize I've gone off on a tangent and then it's hard to get back into the work groove.

There are plug ins for your browser that will allow you to set a timer or limit on the sites you visit. So for instance, you would only be able to visit those sites during non work hours.

The biggest issue here is the heavy traffic on the roads any time of day. My trip of 15 kilometers from home to work takes 2 hours. If there is no traffic, I can save 1 hour in the morning and another hour in the evening. That's a lot of time compared to the slow computer at home. Maybe if I have a driver then I can do part of my work in the car on my way to work.

My biggest time waster at this time is playing video games since it is holidays nothing to do. so i stay up until late at night just playing my ps4 specially NBA 2K19. man im really hooked up on this game.
