    Getting charged double for a domain name?

    The second year I renewed my general chat forum domain, I'm pretty sure they charged me twice, once on auto pay and when they said it didn't work causing me to have to pay manually. When I checked my balance it showed paid twice. That was some time back, so not really sure anything can be done now. But just wondering if other host or domain companies have done similar.

    Can't you file a complaint with Paypal for this, especially if you paid via Paypal. Otherwise, you could lodge a complaint with your bank. You can't just let these people get away with stealing from you.

    you should have contacted the support and asked for a refund.. if you provide much evidence like screenshots than i am sure that they will give you refund. I have refunded many times after contacting support

    You have a right to charge back them either you have paid from credit card or Paypal.

    Mostly, 1st year they provide some low price to gain customers.

    All registrar's renewal price is higher than 1st year registration fee.

    Stop Auto Renew and manually transfer domains out.
