    Where would you go for videos if Youtube had not been invented?

    What would you be doing now if Youtube had not been invented? Is there an alternate video site that you would be visiting instead?

    There would be another video site to take it's place. Or, maybe Facebook would have it's own dedicated video subdomain, just for user video uploads.

    If youtube doesnt exist,there are other sites that are specific to what you are looking for that you can get videos from them. for example to get barcelona football videos, go visit the barcelona site.

    Youtube users have driven this site to the top by daily usage, though I'm sure they would find another and make it as equally great. Much the same way that MySpace users jumped ship to Facebook to make it equally as good as the former site.

    I'd be spending more time on Facebook, sharing videos there. Maybe if there were no Youtube, then Facebook would actually have a dedicated section for video uploads and video sharing, much as you have with Youtube.

    Youtube is a user driven creation, meaning that users made it popular. If there were no Youtube, the same people who visit Youtube would just find (or create) another video sharing site for the same purpose.

    There will be another dominant video depository. Right there are others although YouTube is the most popular. One time I heard my male colleagues talking of a website that holds pornographic videos. They said that there are many websites like that. So I guess if there is no YouTube then there are others who will be fighting for the popularity. As I had mentioned in one topic, there used to be a cge.tv that is a depository of Philippine videos. But it did not last long. I don’t know why it closed down before its first anniversary.

    Facebook is a good option for a video sharing site. I already have several movie and anime groups up and running and for me it's better than YouTube.
