Yes, I do have more than one account. I use them frequently for promoting my websites. It helps me get more than 30% of traffic.

Many people have more than one Facebook account. I don't know what the Facebook TOS says about it, but this is commonly done.

At one time I owned three Facebook accounts, now just one primary account that I use for business and personal reasons. So it's possible to have multiple accounts if you are careful.

legally you can't! But facebook can't stop people from having multiple accounts, as people have multiple phone numbers, and that is how fb verify users existence

It is not Illegal at all but maintaining multiple Facebook accounts is a violation of FB's Terms of Use. That aside, I personally have around 12 accounts so far for a multitude of reasons.

By the Facebook TOs you can't keep more than one Facebook accounts.
But who cares, many people have more than one FB accounts. Facebook is not going to file a law suite against you.

I have quite a few Facebook accounts that have been made over time for different reasons. In saying that I do not use any of them on a regular basis.

That's true. You can't go to jail or prison for having numerous Facebook accounts, so in that way it's not against any law. But, maybe a violation of their TOS, though many do this.

I have only 1 Facebook account since I am not much into it. My account is mainly for connecting to my circle particularly with those relatives and friends who are residing abroad or in the provinces. But my husband has several Facebook accounts. The first is for his personal use. The second is for his office use, the professional side of him. And some other accounts for his experiments. He is an IT consultant so he needs multiple social media accounts for purposes of testing.

Honestly yes, for my personal accounts, and for friends, and social media friends. I feel not free and more active in my other account compare to my personal account, because I don't have relatives there.

First, Facebook won't do anything if you have got double or multiple accounts on their sites for that is the normal thing some of us that are into selling of certain products and services on the internet do. However, you should ensure that you are not using the account for any wrong reason to avoid being banned.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with having two accounts. I think so long as you use a diffrent e-mail to open it you are good to go. Facebook accounts from what I know are attached to e-mail. You can have as many as 100 facebook accounts from what I know. It makes sense to have a personal and a business account and also a Facebook account for all your different products.

I have six, 2 under my name, 1 using my nickname, 3 using a pseudonym. If you maintain pages and groups it's always best to have spare accounts which can be converted to shadow accounts if and when an account is blocked or taken down by Facebook.
