    Do you use Facebook video call?

    I don't like Facebook's video call quality. Skype video call quality is so much better. Have you tried it?

    Your own internet connection might be causing you to have a lagging experience with the Facebook video call. You could try shutting down other pages on your browser to reduce the amount of bandwidth you are using. Streaming videos at the same time as you make the Facebook video call is one reason for lagging.

    Actually, facebook video call feature is as good as Skype video call. I don't use video call too much, however, I have used facebook video call feature as well as skype video call. I don't see any difference. Quality of video call is generally affected by the internet speed and your online activities. For example, if you are downloading or streaming something and at the same time you are making a video call, your video call quality might be poor.

    I do agree and it's quite easy to use also connecting with friends is a breeze because all my friends have Facebook accounts, so we can call each other easily.

    I remember using the video call of Facebook’s messenger just once. It was in 2013 when my husband’s father was on his deathbed in the US. We were able to talk with the old man a few hours before he died. We were all heart-broken and maybe that incident had made me forget to use the video call again. When some of our relatives abroad would ring me for a video call, I just ignore them.

    Yes, I use it a lot when talking to my close facebook friends,. I think that it's quality is at par with Skype and what I noticed is that I don't really need good signal or connection to use FB video call unlike Skype which needs to have a good connection.
