    Do you allow people to post on your Facebook page Timeline?

    Do you allow the ability for anyone to post on your Facebook Page's Timeline? or Do you only have posts by the page and people can reply on them? I have my pages so that it is just Facebook Page staff allowed to share statuses, but have been thinking recently if I should allow everyone who likes my page share statuses on it. Whats your opinion on this?

    No, i don't allow people. I think it can be embarrassing if anyone post something odd on your page timeline. And every page has some specific topic. If people post randomly then they may use content which are not related to the page.

    I allow anyone because I want the interactive community but I get a lot of spam. People post random stuff all the time to promote their own junk.

    I was thinking about the same thing, wondering if opening up comments or allowing fans to post there and such would be a good thing. But I really don't have time to deal with a massive onslaught of spam. If I can't get back to Facebook for a day, my page would be obliterated. :/

    In order to post anything on my facebook timeline, the post needs to get approved by me. I will allow or approve those posts if that is nice and helpful

    In the past, I allowed anyone to post on my timeline. However, later I had to reset the privacy because there were too many spam posts on my timeline. These days, I manually approve posts to appear on my timeline. Until now, I allow anyone to post on my facebook pages, However, I will reset the privacy when the page begins to clutter.

    My timeline is open for posting by any of my friends. However, I don’t think it proper to post on my timeline without asking my permission. At least informing me before posting is one polite way that I require. So when a friend posts on my timeline without permission, it is all right if I like the item otherwise I would delete the item and call the attention of that friend who posted. When the incident is repeated, expect me to unfriend that friend.
