Better SERP with more traffic?

If you have 100k visitors a month, are you likely to rank better than a blog that only has a few hundred visitors? Does Google count your traffic in it's algorithm to decide if that site belongs in Google search for a keyword?

if 100k visitors re new they come from unique and different pc that will help if they are regular customers or clients that will hurt your ranking

What are you talking about? Then this means Facebook and other BIG sites should be even DE-indexed by Google and other SE's as they get those 100k visitors per hour maybe! ;)

In one discussion, it was said that the Alexa rank is also consulted by search engines. If that is the case then traffic is one factor that is considered by search engines. And I think it is logical to assume that Google will give preference to a website that has more traffic than one with lesser traffic. From what I remember, getting indexed by Google and other search engines will need a good amount of traffic for a new website.
