Just was wondering, and if I should keep it in there, how should I write it? Should I put my sites name at the start or the end of the title?
put it with variations.

If site name contains primary keyword the put site name after title, else simply leave it out.
If you mean for your homepage meta title tag then that can be a good idea to do yes. Not just from an SEO perspective but also for an people one as well because they can see your sites name in the title. But if you was trying to rank for something or wanted to be found for some term or keyword you would want to put them in your title as well. And you'd want to start with them as well and then have your sites name at the end of it split by a dash. Because that way it can say something like "Blue Widgets for Sale - WickedWidgets" or "Blue Widgets for Sale by WickedWidgets". Where as putting them first would be "WickedWidgets - Blue Widgets for Sale" or something and that can work too. But if you have a really long title or some keywords you want to rank and show then Google can cut some of that down and not show it all so if you have a long website name that is going to take up a lot of that space and the words you want to show and rank for are not going to show in the search results because they've been cut off for being too long. It's just something to consider for you and often the best choice is to put your sites name at the end of the homepages title both for the meta title and your sites title too or h1 tag if you're using that on your homepage which can also be a very good idea but it doesn't mean that you'll rank #1 for using it still! Obviously it's just a very very small part of SEO but at the same time, your title is very important to get right because it's the 1st thing that search engines and people see and let's them know if your site has what they are looking for. Even if that is blue widgets. ;)
I agree that the name of the site is good to be in the home page’s meta tag just for identification purposes. But for SEO we do not know if that will have a value to the search engines because the niche is the most important for the crawlers and not really the name of the site. Nevertheless the meta tag is one sure item that is checked so maybe you can add a keyword as well.
