Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

So I have tried tweeting a few links on my twitter with my affiliate id embedded and it says that the link I am wanting to share could be spammy or harmful. I removed my affiliate id and still not working. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yup, twitter has blocked links to seoclerks. You can use a url shortener like goo.gl or bit.ly and it will post Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

Second time this has happened. I wonder wtf is Twitters problem. Report it to twitter to get it lifted.

It worked, but now it doesn't, it looks like twitter is wise to the URL shortener now too, as yes the link is allowed to be tweeted, but when you click on it after the tweet, you are taking to a page saying that it may be harmful then given a link to go back to twitter Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

Some hosting companies will let you create a shortened URL based on your top level domain. The shortened link is a sub-domain, such as yourlink.yoursite.com. Would this be a solution for your affiliate link? I've used this technique for sites like ezinearticles.com that don't allow direct affiliate links.

Make sure you report that you can't post the SEOClerk link too to Twitter so that fix it.

Twitter also blocks this too. Just instead of stopping the tweet from being posted in the fist place, they allow the tweet to be made, but don't allow people to come to SEOClerks, sending them to a warning page then back to twitter.

Not sure how to do it. Where do I find the page where I can say that they are blocking SEOClerks Links?

You can still use a link shortener to post SEOClerks URLs. I just did and then clicked the link in Twitter and it worked fine. Don't use Bit.ly, use something better like tinyurl or google url shortner.

To report, just try to post a link to SEOClerks. When you see the warning at the top, click it and report it as not spam.

It was google url shortener I was using and it was being blocked also. Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links? I just went onto me twitter page there though and clicked a SEOClerks link that I tweeted and it worked now, so they must have unblocked it or something Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

Really? That is strange. What did the block page say? What was the google URL?

Cant remember the exact words on it, but it was still a page within twitter, but it wasn't the same usual twitter design for the page. It said along the lines of "The page you are trying to visit may be harmful or considered spam", then there was a link sayings "Return to Twitter", no link saying "Continue to website anyway" or something similar. Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links? If you go to my twitter (Link in Sig) and look at my tweets, there are a few that now work, but didn't last week Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

I don't think that it is blocked still. Yesterday I tweeted about seoclerks, and it went fine. I guess they didn't banned it. It was like temporary suspension.

It's possible that someone might have reported SEOClerks links to be of spammy nature. This happened to one of my links back then. But after sometime, maybe a few week, it went back to normal.

Chrome, Twitter and a lot of other places will flash this warning when affiliate links have been shortened - the reason is their software reads the link and identifies that it is creating two redirects in a chain - one from shortener and then one for the affiliate account to the sales page. This gives an automatic warning that the link might be a spammy one. Bit.ly shortening seems to be a particular problem, maybe it's easier read than others

This happens if you shorten affiliate links from even prime advertisers on sites like Affiliate Window, not just SEO sites

I hope that helps

It probably doesn't help that the affiliate URL is long and multi-hyphenated which also rings spam alarms

You can always use URL shorteners ;). It will help you in hiding actual identity and you will not risk your site from getting suspended Has Twitter Blocked SEOClerks Links?

And, there are some really long affiliate links, especially for the big retail sites. Haven't seen Amazon links lately though.
