Some days when you just don't want to work

Do you ever have days when you feel like staying in bed and not working? As a regular employee of a company, you would not have that option. But when you work at home, you can do whatever you want, so long as you meet your deadline. So do you ever just take the day off?

Its normal it happens to everyone once a while I guess . No one wants to work whole year without any gap .
For me yes usually on lovely weather days I dont want to work at all . And I just go out with my friends to a beach or hang out with them , And when some guests are coming to home I dont work that day at all because I love cooking and I love hosting Some days when you just don
Going to bed ummmm  I think once a month when I want to sleep and sleep and sleep Because I work like 24x7 so once in a while I really want to sleep and have a day off Some days when you just don

I rarely take a day off. Though sometimes I will take an hour off work to do something that I want to do. And of course, I have family responsibilities that I'm always taking care of through out the day. I'm still working even when you don't see me around. This past week I was so sick that I almost passed out in the kitchen twice while making dinner. I still worked that day on my regular jobs. Though I spent most of the day in bed with my laptop. As much as I might want to take a day off, I find that it's easier just to keep working as tomorrow the work will have piled up on me if I slack off today.

Yes every freelancer should take a day off from the work. It would improve their work quality for sure.

I am lucky to have a little more freedom in my schedule than some. So if I'm having an off day and feeling ill then I can just curl up in bed with a good book and cup of hot cocoa and weather the storm in peace. Some days when you just don

Illness is a sign that you need to take a break. This is your body's way of signaling that you need down time.

If you don't listen now, you will end up with a cold.

There is no known cure for a cold except rest. So maybe this is the body's way of telling you to take it down a notch and relax your body.

I am having one of those days of feeling very tired. I did not get enough sleep and am in a haze right now and yet still trying to work.

I think that I will take an hour or so for myself and pick up work later on.

Sometimes, just taking a little break to refresh yourself is better than trying to keep pushing through when your body is too tired to go on.

I really think you shouldn't work everyday... or at everyhour.. Just stay may be hangout at your friends everyday morning and afternoon do your work.. Like that and you can have both money and fun Some days when you just don

If you are working everyday all day then you have no time for yourself. If that's true, then how is 'work at home' better than a regular job which requires the same?

It will just depend on how much money you are earning as a freelancer. If you only earn $1.00 a day as a freelancer then certainly you can find better paying work locally for more money. If you earn way more than that, then stay with freelance until it becomes full time or do your freelance work after you are finished with your local job.

This is not to brag but I am used to working every day and even on weekends if there is work to do. But I admit that I also have my off day, that is when my bio rhythm is out if rhythm. In days like that, it is difficult to work since the efficiency is low such that a one-hour work is done in more than 2 hours. Well, it's nice to be idle sometimes if you can afford not to work.

I sometimes have that feeling. I work from home. There was a time when I worked every day, I worked at least 10 hours in a day, I worked even during the weekends and holidays. However, these days sometimes I don't like working. Not just during the holidays or the weekends, but even during the weekdays. I have not taken a vacation since a long time and now I am thinking to take a month-long vacation. Looks like my energy has been consumed.
