Hiring Someone for SEO

Did you hire someone for your website or did you just do it yourself? Do you feel that you can learn a lot by SEO just on the internet or is it imperative that you have someone who knows what they are doing? I have been learning quite a bit over the past few months, but do feel that eventually I will get it.

I didn't hire someone to seo my site. The fact that I did try to once and he just make things worst by adding crappy mods and plugins that don't work. Some seo guys actually aren't programmers so they know nothing which can affect the settings if they try to edit things.

It depends on your skill level, and your budget. If you don't have the skills, hire an SEO. If you don't have the budget, do it yourself. I I do my own SEO although hiring someone to do it has crossed my mind several times because it is time consuming.

For small site owners my suggestion is to learn SEO methods and do the work yourself. Observe the effect within 1 month to evaluate if you can do it or not. If you believe that your SEO work is not effective then your only recourse is to hire an SEO specialist or maybe consult a specialist on what you may be doing wrong to your SEO work. Of course, you also have to spend for the consultation.

Use a personal recommendation and don't EVER hire a company that says they can absolutely guarantee you a particular ranking. They can't. They just want your business and your money. My favorite part is at the bottom of those SEO contracts you will usually see in bold that they can guarantee a particular ranking. SEO is an Internet science and just like anything else in this world that is of any value, it takes time. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was the Internet, so be patient! Persistence & patience pay off in the world of SEO. Let me tell you why you should hire Mainely SEO as your Maine SEO Consultant.

If you have a budget to start with, hiring someone to do SEO for you is for the best. Let's face it, SEO is boring and you probably want to do something else with your time, like creating quality content for your websites.

I agree that the quality content is a good place to start. It is hard to do it all yourself, so maybe it would be best to focus on what one can really do and then hire out to do the rest. But then again if you want something done right you may have to do it yourself. It is a lot to think about when you do not know a lot about SEO but yet do not fully trust others as well to work on your site.

It depends on your budget. You have to think your strategy before you start a project and not after you don't get any result.

I understand that you need to hire and SEO specialist if you cannot do the SEO work on your website by yourself. However, it is not that easy to hire someone to do the work for you because it is not easy to evaluate the effect. First is the period of work vis-à-vis the time of the effect. It can be a week or a month or many months before you can see the positive effect of the SEO work. Maybe you just have to rely on reliable recommendation when you hire an SEO worker.
