    Freelancing gives me the opportunity to set my own hours and earn money part time when I need it. I am not dependent on a boss to say how much extra money I can have for my daily expenses.

    yes, freelancing is a hard work and there is nothing glamorous about it. If someone says he is building a fortune by freelancing, probably he is lying. In order to make high income, you need high-quality skills. A general skill might earn money for you when you are at a regular job, for as a freelancer you need better skills.
    Of course, some people are making millions by freelancing, but not everyone is so lucky.
