    Discouraging blog trolls

    How can you discourage people from trolling on your blog comments or posting irrelevant comments that only harass the real blog readers?

    I guess the only choice you have is to block them. When your blog gets a lot of troll comments, evaluate things because it might have something to do with your kind of blogging. More often than not, blogs that has a niche for current events get troll comments because of politics. That happens here and the only way to avoid those nasty comments is to block them. On the other hand, allowing those troll comments is respecting the freedom of expression.
