    How long have you been using SMF forum software?

    I have been using SMF forum software for a few years and very happy with the experience. The only thing I don't like so far is how some of the older versions of SMF refuse to upgrade to more recent versions. To me, that's a big deal. What's been your experience with SMF forum software?

    I have not used SMF as a forum owner, but am a member on a few SMF style forums. The forum software is a little awkward to use. It's hard to identify the right buttons for posting, editing, etc when make a post. I would prefer Xenforo software as a forum owner or user.

    I have managed to install and work on several SMF boards and it's absolutely amazing! It is so simple to use, yet designed just perfectly. Everything is clear and smooth. I recommend it to all rookies!

    I'm very pleased with SMF as far as free software is concerned. Though I love Xenforo and have worked as an admin on Xenforo based forums for several years. I can't wait to buy the Xenforo software for my own forum. It's very intuitive and sleek and fun to work with.
