The bulk backlinks for sale is similar to the service being offered for the likes and followers in social media. There was a time that those kind of services were prevalent in the market place that I know they were selling fast. Unfortunately we have to admit that the number of followers that was effected on the account was created by bots and sooner or later the numbers were removed by the social media network.

An url that is pointing directly to your own site is a Direct url. If you enter a blog comment on some blog and fill in your url there. that will be a direct url linking to your site.

In many seo aspects you tend to use Tiers to build up links.
Ex.

Money site <- Site 1 <- Site 2 <- Site 3

In the above example Site 3 has a link pointing to site 2. Site 2 has a link pointing to site 1 and at last site 1 has a link to your money site

Site 1 = tier 1
Site 2 = tier 2
Site 3 = tier 3

Some persons reflect site one as tier 0.

This days anchor variation is the key in seo.. so you can use this gigs to diversify your anchor text.

Mainly use those that provide unlimited kw and maybe urls if you have so many and use to post links with 20-50-200 kw depending on your strategy

Quality backlinks matter while bulk backlinks may or may not be useful.
You have to be very careful while purchasing backlinks.
