Forum posting and signature links are my favorite ways to get back links. But, also i like do follow social networking/social bookmarking sites including Google + which has a bookmark/page feature and do follow links.

What happens now to the backlinks that you had posted in Google Plus now that it is closing? I cannot imagine that if you had spent so much time in posting links on that social bookmarking site then it would be gone just like that? Anyway, forum posting is one good way of building backlinks but only for popular sites that get a lot of traffic. Small forums can give you backlink that is not so good in quality.

Hi Corzhens, a lot has changed in 9 years. I don't really use forum signatures any more. At least from what I've read, Google no longer favors that type of backlink as it is usually out of context to the rest of the content on the page. A better solution, might be to find an old post that is already indexed and then insert a link to your site within. Assuming your site or keyword anchor text is relative to the post content, there should be no issues.

I believe forum posting and blog commenting is the most easiest and the most effective way to optimize your site on search engines....So i just get backlinks from forums and blogs...!

I don't do a lot of methods to acquire backlinks. I just do article submission, forum posting and blog commenting. Some gurus actually recommend exchanging links with related sites.

Exchanging links isn`t good for SEO. My favourite one is to play with Senuke X

) But I'm not quite good at it yet, so the best way is to pay someone who will create them professionaly.
