Any way of tracking competitors' broken backlinks in order to aquire them?

Link Building opportunities and I think that tracing and acquiring the broken backlinks of competitors is good idea. The problem is that I can track competitors' inbound links but can not figure out how to trace their broken backlinks.I would probably extract all of the data from OSE and put it in all into a single spreadsheet so that you can sort which ones you want to target by sorting each link by Domain Authority.

Ahrefs and SEMrush both have a "broken backlinks" filter built into their backlink checker - you plug in the competitor's domain and it'll flag which of their inbound links are now pointing to 404s or dead pages. From there it's really just a spreadsheet job like you said - sort by DA/authority, then reach out to whoever's linking to that dead page and offer your own (working) content as a replacement. The free tools are more limited here, most of the good broken-link data is behind a paid plan, but even a free trial is usually enough to pull one competitor's list.
