    Website flipping is nothing but buying and selling of websites to make profit. In most cases, people make websites on their own and popularize them for a period of time after which they sell it. The more you grow a website, the more are your chances of selling them at 10 times the amount of its monthly income.

    I guess site flipping is not that easy because you need to make your site decent and presentable in terms of contents and traffic as well. But will there be a buyer for a site that has good contents and substantial traffic? Most of the freelancers I know would rather create their own sites instead of buying.

    I have read in one discussion that you can profit by doing site flipping which is actually the buy and sell of a website. First, you buy a stagnant website which has a very low market value since it is not active. Revive the website by reorganizing the contents and filling it up with fresh contents that is of high quality. After a month or 2, check the ranking of the website if it had improved marginally. And when the ranking in the search engine list is pretty good then you can start to sell it at a higher price.
