    Forst of all, you should have keywords on your domain. For example, if you are thinking to start a website on mental health issue, your domain name should have keywords related to mental health. Secondly, your website title should also include your primary keywords.
    Thirdly, you should put enough contents on your website. Your contents should be optimized for search engines. You do this by adding keywords on the title, body and description.

    There is a saying that content is king and the content is the basic foundation of the website. That means without content, there is no website to speak of regardless if the design and layout are excellent. For a new website, my suggestion is to post good contents every day like building up the stockpile. Good content is unique and relevant to the niche of your website. With that, you cannot go wrong and for sure your website will get a good ranking in the search engine list.
