Order paid directly to the seller? Can't get a refund after order cancelled?

How is it that I pay a seller direct?  I didn't realize that is how this system works?

"The order was cancelled by the Seller. This order was paid directly to seller and the seller is responsible for the refund of the order.February 24, 2025, 9:08 pm"


The seller was 17 days late delivering an order.   I asked to cancel the order.

The order was cancelled.  A refund was not given.

On SEOClerk, payments are usually processed through the platform, but in some cases, if a seller has direct payment enabled, the funds go straight to them instead of being held by SEOClerk. This means SEOClerk does not handle refunds for direct payments, and the seller is responsible for issuing the refund.

Since your order was 17 days late and then canceled without a refund, you should:

  1. Contact the seller and request a refund directly.

  2. If they don’t respond, open a support ticket on SEOClerk and report the issue.

  3. If you paid via PayPal or credit card, consider filing a dispute with your payment provider.
