    Newly added pages not indexing on google

    I wanted to revamp my website then I moved into a new theme and recreate the whole website. After that I posted a few articles and manually requested indexing from Google search Console like I usually do. And when I check back again I says that pages are not indexed. I checked in the pages section on the GSC. And newly added pages are not in there either. 

    What is the problem here and how can I index my articles again.. Please help I'm really helpless here...

    Yes I use redirection for a some newly added pages.

    If your newly added pages are not indexing on Google after revamping your website, here are the possible reasons and solutions:

    Possible Issues & Fixes:
    1. Check "Crawlability" in Robots.txt

      • Go to
        yourwebsite.com/robots.txt
        and ensure it does not block Google from indexing your pages.

      • If you see
        Disallow: /
        , remove it.

    2. Inspect URL in Google Search Console

      • Use URL Inspection Tool in GSC to check if Google can crawl the page.

      • If it says "URL is not on Google," request indexing again.
