    How can I know if the PR are fake PR ?

    I came across several sites here that their PR very high (PR9 or 8 for example)
    On the other hand they are not senior websites, and I do not see that they have a large amount of backlinks
    The question is can someone fake PR and if so, how can I recognize it in a fake PR?

    PR8 and PR9? That's rare. I know of certain techniques to make low quality PR, which are used by mostly scammers (to sell high PR crappy backlinks) or certain very highly advanced blackhatters (viagra and those kind of niches).

    If you have a domain with empty index file and blast just a few crappy backlinks on it, you will get PR3+ on the next PR update, but that PR won't have value. When you will made a whole site with outbound and inbound links, PR will drop with the next update (3+ months). It's a method used by scammers to sell crappy but high PR backlinks.

    Fake PR is a different thing, it is made with 301 redirects and is detectable by many fake PR checkers. Just google "fake PR checker".

    Realistically, I would assume that anything claiming a PR that high is fake or falsely inflated at this point. 

    It is difficult to even get to PR 5. And if, for some reason, someone were able to get to PR 8 or 9 in a completely legit and natural way, chances are, they aren't going to be selling link spots on a site like this.

    All what you wrote I know and I guess most here know it

    Still not clear to me how some websites (pretty new - and a history of several months), empty history, a few months in the air, does not seem to have passed 301 from another site.
    And received PR9 or 8
    I also can not see that they have the amount of links that lead to ...

    Just strange to me

    Try looking in seoquake, then also look the domain in majesticseo.com and look its backlinks. if the backlinks is enough for that  pr and also try to look the history of its backlinks if the backlinks was just created recently and try to also look if the domain was not redirected before to another domain.
