Well I think now search engines looks for quality content and online reputation of a site.
What you guys think? Online Reputation of a site is that important? If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Yes the two major thing that search engine looks for is quality content and rich links to your site that appears natural.

I think quality content is the first item that the search engines check. That is based on the majority of the discussions about SEO that I have read from time to time. Without contents your site will not be checked by the search engine crawlers that’s why you need to upload new contents regularly. If the content is not good enough then there is a tendency for the ranking of your site to go down.
There are a lot of factors in this but what you have said it more or less what search engines like to see.
as long as by reputation you mean high quality backlinks of course. Google won't appreciate 1,000,000+ spam links.
If you understand what the search engine optimization process is, the next step is to understand how many factors the search engines actually do look at. Many search engines suggest in their documentation and discussions that there are numerous factors that various search engines look For.
META TAG AND SITE SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION DATA
Key words and quality
Search engines look for the most relevant sites that the searcher is looking for. They use an array of algorithms in which to work out which site is the most relevant for the searcher and then list them accordingly in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). Those algorithms look for sites that have the most backlinks. But it's not as simple as that. Another site related to the same thing the searcher is searching could have less backlink and be more relevant. While at the same time, another site that is related to the same thing the searcher is searching for could have more backlinks but might not necessarily be the most relevant site that the searcher is searching for. So they have to use other ways to find out which site is the most relevant regardless to how many backlinks they have. These would be things like, how related most of those backlinks are, what backlinks those backlinks have, what keywords (anchor text) is used in them. And many other things too let alone your social media count which is probably something that's taken into consideration and certainly seems to help. But at the end of the day, it's down to quality, which site has the best quality links, how old those links are and the links around them that defines which site ranks highest in the SERPs for a search term, keyword or phrase.
In my roaming around this site, particularly about the ins and outs of SEO methods, my understanding with the search engines is that they are looking for a good description related to the niche and good contents also related to the niche. For instance, when you search about space travel, the title and description of the websites in the search list are about space travel and the contents are also about space travel. In other words, the website should be true to the niche all the time.
