What is the difference between Paid Boost and Free Boost?

Hi, I'd like to know if free boosts are the same as paid boosts? Like if paid boosts are just a premium way of getting boosts? Also does boosting work for you?

The free boost is the same as paid boost, the additional benefits in paid boost is that it will re-boost the service you use it for to the front page after 12 hours and it will highlight that particular services for 4 hours.
