Yes, that's very important actually, I used to work, work, work... and realized I wasn't really enjoying life, so I told myself, what good is it working so much if you don't enjoy life? Relaxing is not only about resting but also about generating creativity, determining what you enjoy might help give you a clue as to what is the most appropriate path in life.

My new year's resolution is that this coming 2019, I will spend less time and attention from the problems of my relatives and focus more on my own family. My relatives are quite toxic this year and was greatly extracting money from me for personal reasons and I don't want that to continue. I hope that this 2109, I will see that my decision of staying away from them was right.

My New Year's Resolution is to reevaluate what exactly makes me happy and to work from there. I mean, I know we all have to do some things that we might not be happy about. Things that give us stress and whatnot. But I think I can be a little happier, work a little better, and keep my stress levels a lot lower than they already are.

I honestly don't have any New Year's resolution. It is because back when I was still studying, I used to have these resolutions that only ended up in my memory. Nothing particular was achieved. That's why, I started to think of having a daily goal.

Well, I have stopped making New Year Resolution's for a long time now. In the past I always did make New Year Resolution's which most of the times were unrealistic. I know with experience now that it is better to take up challenges as they come and give your best efforts to overcome them.Life is very unpredictable and therefore we can't plan things in advance.

I don't make any new year resolutions but I have made a plan for year 2019 in my online work and freelance areas. Making money is not my priority in 2019, as I plan to make this year to focus on my home, kids (including homeschooling) and my health & fitness, I plan to just pick a few online sites which I want to focus on and only work on web design projects if they are not too effort driven and time consuming. Though I won't be making much money, I realized I have been too overwhelming with everything on my plate and this plan would make me focus and get the main areas in my life more organized first, then only I'll consider the "working" or "making money" area perhaps in one or two years later.

My goals for work are predominantly tied to my finances and paying down debt. I want to pay down about $35k in debt this year, which is going to require a bit of hustle and some sacrifice, but long term financial security is important to me. If I work hard this year it's going to give me some significant breathing space - and you can't really put a price on that. Lots of early mornings and late nights are going to be in my future, I believe!

I don't have new year's resolution because I can't fulfill it. I just let go of the days and enjoy it. I only want inspiration, motivation and encouragement to sustain the way of life. Probably to spend less & spend lesser time on social media. I've started doing it these past few months by selling stuff I don't use or need anymore and I only buy things now that are useful for me or for the people around me. Some people call it "being selfish to myself" but for me it's actually less stressful which is surprising. As for me avoiding social media, I've deleted my Facebook account and now I only use Twitter and Instagram which is better than having 5 or 6 social media accounts.

The more I decide on a resolution the less I'm able to achieve it, and the more stress and pressure I get. Maybe, I'll focus on one freelancing platform. That'll be my resolution. It's a safe resolution as you can see, because even if I don't get to achieve it I'll still be working on all the other platforms at once! LOL!

Some of my New Year's Resolution are, "I should do the things that make me happy" and "Do not expect too much from other people". I tend to seek validation and depend my own happiness from others by expecting them to equate the good things I do for them. That's a great financial goal - if I was earning that much I would be thrilled, and it's around the figure I've set myself too. If I can make that much on average each month I'll be able to crush the goal I've set for paying down some of our debt. This reminds me of my younger days when I would list down my new year’s resolutions before the year ends. But almost always that ritual was just a kind of ceremony to add to the festivities of the new year’s eve and nothing would be accomplished. My resolution for 2019 is to start seriously paying off my student loans. The money I make from freelancing online isn't really enough to live on but it's definitely enough to start paying off small increments of my loans. I hope to pay off some of the smaller ones I have and hopefully make enough to start on the bigger ones by December. Also, I am hoping to dedicate more time to my freelancing though it will depend on getting a job with more regular hours than my current position.
