How to find quality content writers?

I am starting a new blog and a forum, I need to find some quality writers for them, but I don't have experience in this. Can anyone tell me how to find quality content writers? What to check to have quality articles and content for my sites?

Yes, I think you can use SEO clerks to find quality writers. There are other places on the web like Upwork that would allow you to find quality writers as well. You can search for and use them when you know a bit about them and their writing style.

Are you looking for just blog content writers or forum posters as well? In terms of blog content, you can actually post your job here and people who can write content for you will apply for the job. I'm sure the users here are not too expensive to hire as well. If you are looking for forum posters, then you can try PostLoop or TheForumWheel

I've had a great time on both as well and I'm sure the original poster will enjoy using both sites. Personally, if I was him though I would go down the route of TheForumWheel if he wants to guarantee high quality posts because I do believe that TheForumWheel has slightly more strict rules depending on the content that we as writers post.

I am going to give you the best advice that I can possibly give, do not spend any more money then your willing to lose. I know I keep using this example but I saw a guy spend $40k on a forum with paid posting and advertising and he made it to 150k posts and as soon as he stopped paying the forum died in a month. Having said that Post Loop is really good if you set your minimum rating high enough.

Obviously if someone hire forum posters for his/her forums then it will be died immediatable when they stop using the service because writers will leave their site when they don't earn any things from posting on the forum.
I also have a forum and it is being maintained by organic traffic and it is active by natural members who came from search engines.

Having said that Post Loop is really good if you set your minimum rating high enough.

I tried but less subscribers thus set lower minimum rating.

Yeah, forum paid to post is quite different to finding content writers for your blog. The problem, like you said, is that once you stop paying for posts for your forum, you will lose a huge number of users who will stop posting on your site straight away. And that doesn't help your forum at all really. The thing with blog posts is, you get what you are paying for. You are only after some content for your blog and not looking for users to be a part of your site.

It looks like that formula of investing in paid forum posting will give more opportunities for freelancers. Sometimes I wonder if the forum industry is dying but my take is on the opposite that forum owners just don’t want to be daring in their investment. It seems like they are just waiting for the forum to die a natural death. Paid forum posting is one way of revitalizing the forum.

I believe the best way is to test them to find out their pattern and style of writing if it will suit your taste.Asking for a sample from them might not help much because they can lift articles from anywhere to submit. Again, if you have the means go for native speakers but if not just check out those with good rating and feedback on their profile and work with them.It will be worthwhile that way.

I know this but I don't trust into their samples because how if they are written by someone or they are the best ones that they have ever written?

Also, feedback can be fake it serves for marketing purpose to increase sales for their services.

Yes, you can find writers here. The next question is how do you know they are quality writers? This is a big question. If you are a quality writer yourself, you may not need to look for another one in the first place. The best thing I can think of is to find a friend who is a good writer. If he's available to write for you, fine. If not, ask him to vet the writers which may apply to write for you.

What do you mean in terms of "I need to find some quality writers for them"?

If you're referring to content creators who will write articles and posts for you, then there are a number of places you can look. For one thing, you can check out another Ionicware site similar to this one, called WordClerks. People there provide writing services similar to the way they provide SEO service here. Another similar site is Fiverr, where people will often write 500-750 word articles for as low as $5. Then of course there are freelancing sites like Upwork which can be a bit more professional.

If you're referring to writers who will post comments on your blog discussing the content, you can put your blog up on paid forum posting sites (I'd recommend Postloop) and generate traffic and discussion that way.

There are lots of sites you can use to find good writers including this one. I have never done it myself, but having both hired people for design and also being a designer myself that has been hired for freelance jobs, I would say that a good rule of thumb is that you get what you pay for. If you increase your pay then you will tend to attract the more seasoned freelancers as when they already have lots of experience and projects completed under their belt, most likely their price would have increased already compared to the beginners, so to find them, you might find some success in using this strategy of simply just paying more.

I gather you're using Postloop. Have you tried looking for your forum posters that write good contents there on your sites? And you may have probably rated good enough to prove that they're good writers. I don't know how else you can look for quality content writers but to try most of the sites mentioned here and hope for the best. Good luck on your new blog and forum.

Besides just manually looking through the writers available right here on SEOClerks, you can also perhaps try and make the job yourself. Click on "Buyer" in the top right corner, then "Hire/Trade" and "Create job". Write exactly what you're looking, list all of your demands and so on. When people apply for the job you've created go through their reviews, ratings and always ask for a sample or two of their previous work. This should increase the chances of you finding a high-quality writer

When I apply for a writing job, I always send my blog links with my application. The employer can check my works on my blog. If he believes that I am the right person for his job, he will hire me. For writers on your forum. Join postloop as a publisher. Set a high rating to be eligible for publishing. This will allow only quality writers to join your forum.

When looking for content writers, you will find some extremely low prices. But, I have found that lower-priced content will typically produce very low-quality work. At that range, you can expect a writer who is either a native speaker or has a proficient command of the language. Yet, also at that price, what you get is what I would call filler content. I agree. I think it's much like anything where you get what you pay for. Sometimes you can get lucky and get someone who is great but just at the point of trying to build an online presence so they are still cheap, but sifting through all the candidates among that category can be difficult and if you want something safer then you might have to just jump up to the higher priced categories where you know you will be getting from people who have already proven themselves.

How about reading those good blogs, learn from them and write out your contents with high quality. All you need is sufficient surveys and research, make your article long, 700 words, no spelling mistakes and publish it. Remember to share at social medias, you will get good response.

It is a good way to learn from other sites/blogs but to write content for our sites, it is not an easy task because it required more time and efforts.

Be clear and precise on your expectations, too often vague instructions are issued resulting in frustration from both parties.

From what I can see, there are so many good writers in this forum. All you have to do is to read what you can see on the pages and I’m sure you will get an idea of the content writers that you may need. I would suggest for you to check on writers with long comments because they are prolific in terms of contents. And what you need is content so you already have a one point there. But with the quality, check the comments if it is easy to understand and that’s it.

The quality of writer you get will also depend on how much you are willing to pay them. There is nothing like a free lunch. You can't expect to get good content writers for free or on the cheap. For example I believe you can find good quality writers on Upwork, but they are expensive. Also If the writing is not to your standard you can always reject the work. With so many freelancers online, the problem is how to choose, not the lack of quality content writers.
