How Can You Edit Your Community Discussion Posts (Especially Editing The Format)?

As you can see, the formating is weird on this discussion.
It is ugly but when I writed on the text editor, it wasn't like that...
I don't remember if I writed directly or pasted from word or notepad but either way, the formating was ok before I submitted but ugly after that How Can You Edit Your Community Discussion Posts (Especially Editing The Format)?
Is there a way to edit your own discussion?

I think people don't like it because it is ugly / hard to read and the topic in question is very important!...

Can seoclerks add that functionality in the future if it is not present currently?

There's an "Edit" button in the bottom right of your live discussion usually. I'm not 100% positive if it will show up for everyone, it might depend on your level or even how long the discussion has been live.

I just checked back on some of my discussions for a few months ago and I can't edit them because of how much time has passed.

When you're setting up your discussion, just use the text editor and make the formatting look good. You can Bold, underline, italicize, increase the font size, change the color of your text, etc.

You can also add images, video, links, center, align right, align left, add quotes, add your own code, add lists, and so on.

It's fairly easy to edit your text. If you can't edit the text after your discussion goes live, be sure to make it as pretty as possible before you submit it lol How Can You Edit Your Community Discussion Posts (Especially Editing The Format)?

I just learnt this from you and it's really nice to know that we can edit our articles on this forum. Sometimes, when I've written things and want to change them either the words or the format. I always discover that it's not possible.

There is usually an edit button right at the bottom of your posts so you can use that. It should be next to the buttons that say reply and report and next to the timestamp of when you posted that topic. Did you manage to find it? Because there doesn't seem to be any problems with the post that you linked here. It looks fine, to be honest with you and doesn't seem to have anything wrong with it ;)

I was checking and there is no edit option for me in neither of the last 3 posts or even on older posts!...
That post looks fine because probably the moderator / editor, fixed that. But it was messed up...
Thanks for the reply anyway ;)

I am not seeing the edit button either. I guess I am wondering if it is a feature not all members are able to access for some reason. I think it is simply a feature that should be added and easily able to use if it is not however. We all want the capability to change our posts in some way if we have the need. OK, I see the button available now. Maybe I should edit this post lol..

I edit the community discussion as usual. Its not a matter of fact to me. If I made any mistake at the published post than I always search for the edit option- click the edit button and edit as usual. I think by editing if I give the accurate information than its not a matter.

Thanks

What's your level for I've not seen where I can really edit some of the posts that I've made on SEOCLERKS and that's been frustrating for me in the past as well

Yeah, the format can easily change if you are copy and pasting from another program such as Word onto the SEOClerk or any other similar websites. The spacing will get messed up. It happened to me before - it was weird because it was like the spaces were missing where I've put them in.

I tried checking now if I can still edit a thread that I've made yesterday but I can't. So, the "edit" option definitely disappears after a while. But I am sure that it's there for threads and for posts because I've edited my posts a few times in the past when I've made some grammar error.

I also wonder about this since I made few discussions here in SEOclerks. And I wanted to edit some of them for typos and corrections but I can't seem to find the edit button. I only get susbcribe and support. But I am certain that I've seen the edit button before because I have edited some of my replies. It's probably editable after a few minutes of posting? That's just my hunch though.

Well, i also wonder cause i don't really get to edit my discussion, especially when i want to correct somethings, but i can edit my posts most times. and sometimes, they will tell me my account has been restricted from editing any posts.

I noticed this too some days back when I was to submit a discussion. Noticed that I didn't include some thoughts and I needed to edit to include that but couldn't access the edit button. The community should rectify this, so at least we'll be submitting error free discussions.

I haven't seen the edit button lately, but then again I haven't posted any discussions recently so that could be the reason! I will try posting a discussion later and see if the button is available to me. I might be able to see it if I am actually posting a discussion. It should be available for the responses as well though.

You can always edit in case you make any mistake using the Edit button. However if you come to check your posts after some hours then you won't be allowed to edit the post and you won't find the edit button. The best thing to do is to check your posts/discussions well before posting.
