Do you know any free web hosting services?

I am using a free web hosting from x10hosting for my forum and I am quite satisfied by their services apart from it is free, there is no forced ads and you can also parked your own domain if you have one. They are using cpanel which is quite easy to use and navigate for a beginner like me. They also have one-click install of all popular scripts used for creating sites, blogs, eCommerce, forum and many more. The only downside is that they have limited storage and bandwidth which is important when you are getting lots of traffics and uploaded lots of media. How about you? Do you know any free web hosting services that is reliable and with great features?

I might check that out since I am also looking for one, for starter that is. But I would also recommend you try out WordPress. Everybody seems to be suggesting it here. I have quite received a lot of recommendations from our fellow SEOclerks here.
You should check it out. Cheers!

This is the current plan I'm on. For 0.99$/month what can you lose? So far I have nothing but postitive reviews for this site. I would definitely recommend checking it out. Cheers!

Well, when it comes to free versus paid hosting, the paid kind will always be much higher-quality and have far better features. If you do plan on truly becoming successful with your website/blog/forum, you should consider switching over to the paid hosting.

Anyway, the hosting sites that I know of and are good quality are:
  • WordPress,
  • Wix,
  • Google Sites,
  • Weebly,
  • Neocities,
  • Angelfire.

Out of all of these WordPress is by far the best choice.

I'm using 000webhost and it's decent. This is assuming that you want to create the website yourself, I don't believe that they have templates like that of Wix's. You can either choose to get your own domain, which will cost a few dollars I believe, or you could launch your website for free under their domain. I personally use the free one as I use mine as samples in resumes and portfolio.

I know some but I will not recommend you to use free hosting services unless you want to have issues with your websites when running on these hosting.

If you have a decent budget, you should go with a paid hosting service which is supported and you know you will get what you pay for.

Judging from the fact that you are satisfied with x10hosting, I assume that the scale of your forum is good enough for x10hosting. However, I think x10hosting is one of the best ones among free hosting and if you want to get more capabilities, there is no other way than to consider paid service with rates that fit your budget. On Wordpress, I have used Wordpress hosting and I am satisfied with it. I also have good amount of medias as well so I think on that point Wordpress is excellent. However, if you are worried about traffic, I cannot really judge how well it will be because I primarily deal with low traffic.

If you already have your website set up and just need a host then godaddy would probably be the best, safest, and cheapest of them all

I think Wordpress is a great option. It has great functionality, and the design capabilities of the site are really sleek and modern, which is how I like my website to come across. I'm still using Wix as a premium user right now, but I'm contemplating making the switch to Wordpress after my subscription is done. You could give Wordpress a try with a free account and see you like its functionality and design aspects before deciding to pay for a plan.

Blogger is an option for you to have a free hosting. The only drawback is that you can only use blogger themes. But you can use your own domain.

I even used blogger at the beginning of my projects and I confess it was very good.

For hosting a static site, you can use gitlab pages. It's not easy to use, but you have to freedom to write your own code, and upload it.

If you have pure HTML page to host then Github pages can be one good option too. In that case even the Dropbox based hosting can be good too. There are some people who are using the blog option by hosting the text file hosted on the dropbox. You can in same way use the Google Drive option for hosting the content. I have found that it works and you don't have to think much about the bandwidth and hosting.

I have joined in a lot of free web hosting service like jimdo, unaux, siterubix, ucoz, blogger etc and then want to place my affiliate programs to gain referral.

Also I will place a-ads into my sites to earn some CPM but the visitors are very few. Therefore I just can manage to earn a little.

Yeah, WordPress is the best I know about. Wix and simplesites aren't bad. The rest are 'crap' except those I don't know about.

Hi there thanks for your query. I think you almost get some suggestions for getting free hosting service for your site or business.
Here I am going to tell you a great free hosting site like WordPress. Free and easy to install. And another good free hosting site by wix. They also provide you premium type theme for your site, which really looking awesome. Google blog-spot may another great free hosting site for you.
But, in the end of sentence, you said, your current free hosting site make you limitation by space or storage. It is common problem by all free hosting site. You can not get freedom, if you used to with free hosting. So, you must to come to business hosting site, if you plan for long time business. Moreover, google search engine also do not care much more about free hosting site. In this sense, you also loser for SEO factors.

Hostsinger sounds like the one to use if you want completely free hosting. As long as their services are decent, there is no reason not to use them. I don;t believe in paying for things if you can get them for free.

There are tons of free hosting platforms as suggested above. Similarly, a simple Google Search can get you suggestions. Beware of unproven sites though.

Thanks for all of your advice, I really appreciate that, I am thinking right now to just save money for the paid hosting because it is really a good option to go for paid than free since it is supported.

I've seen all comments on this post and I can't help but keep wondering, Is there really anything call "free web hosting' without a condition or clause attached to it?

Viewen is also a good alternative. It is free, with unlimited disk space and bandwidth. You need to provide your own domain name though, and you can't use the service for spamming.

Well, i think every free web hosting service offers a free host, but i think there is any where you can find a good hosting service, without a very small scale of limited bandwidth and Ads infested website, even though sometimes the Ads are clouded, but it runs underground and might pop up unexpected.
I have not used a free web host before though,

I will note down that x10hosting that I can use when I need to create a new website. A free website has the downside of the forced ads that you cannot control and worse for some who have the pop ups. But I am wondering how that free hosting earns from your site because hosting services entail a cost and there should be a way on how to compensate for the operating expenses.
