Writing idea for articles in 2017

I was thinking about writing articles but i was curious to know the trend in 2017. A friend of mine told me to write the articles about "top 10 List".

This turned out to be a good idea and I wrote a lot of articles about top 10 things. I started with top 10 2017 movies list and top 10 songs of 2017. These articles were so valuable and i got better than ever before.

Is this idea working for you? Or, what keyword suggestions are really popular to write about now for your blog or website?

Lists are a great way to get people interested, especially if it's simple and something people are interested in. However even instead of a top 10 songs of 2017 - you could narrow it down, and have something repetitive that people might come back to inquire about - what about the top 10 songs of January 2017? Best summer movies? That way you have more content!

Writings articles can be fun when it is about sometime you love and whether it is about movies or songs what peaks your interests , well go ahead and do it.

The year 2017 is going to end soo and 2018 is knocking our doors. Writing on list (top ten list, best list etc) and versus ( x vs. y) has always worked. It worked back in 2010 and it worked in 2017 and it will work in 2018. People love the list and comparison articles. The list articles and versus articles are in high demand, therefore, you can use these trends to write articles. Writing top list and versus articles is also quite easy.

For this coming year, my suggestion for articles is the how-to or the DIY in writing and earning from the internet. Until now, I’m still very interested in reading such articles particularly one that tells how to avoid being scammed. In the early days of my freelancing, several of my writing friends were scammed by several websites that promised to pay the writers but did not. Those kind of articles have a captive reader among us writers.

I'm writing in 2018. I know people like articles about popular culture and what is trending. I'm sure you will have enough to write about at the beginning of the year. Ideas would be how to make resolutions and goals, how to keep your new year resolutions, how to survive the financial hardships of January, how to loose weight and how to exercise. For the rest of the year I would also concentrate of writing about Bitcoin, because that's what everybody is talking about.
