It is common that nowadays, the majority of your purchased backlinks package from SEO, doc submission, article submission, social bookmarking and so on will randomly be removed or disappear.

Do you check after a few days, weeks or months to find that links you purchased via an SEO link building package are suddenly dead and gone?
You can use tools like screaming frog to check the status for outbound links you may have and find the 404 ones. I guess you will never know when your backlink is removed from a site because you will not be informed and with the myriads of backlinks that you had spread around the internet, I don’t think you can know about the backlinks be they broken or not. My take on that is to just spread more backlinks instead of trying to check on the broken backlinks.
