What motivates you??

There is a saying in management, that the greatest tool to motivate the employees is money. But now things have changed over time, money isn’t the only thing. For example, Google allows their employees superior freedom of choice, on working hours and in between they can also go to the gym, play table tennis, or get a massage and not to mention their in-office cafeteria.

For me, I am very easy to get bored doing the same thing again and again, I am always looking for a different genre for work. But it is always not the same, like for an instance, now that I am spending most of my time working in SEOclerks the orders that I get, but sometimes I feel bored and lazy to continue.

To overcome this, I take a lot of breaks in between my work, also I go for power walks, listen to music, watch movie on one station while working in another station and I live on caffeine.

The great thing about working from home is your freedom to take breaks when ever you want. Not having a boss looking over your shoulder great motivation for me is taking the odd break for example make a cuppa coffee and stretch your legs and body if your like me you need this if your sat with a laptop for hours.

Music gets me motivated head phones in my android phone and playing my favourite tracks to help me focus. If I find my mind wondering from time to time and can't concentrate I will take 15 minutes and sit quietly in a form of meditation. Many people does diss meditation but trust me it helps a lot with concentration and yes motivation gives the energy you need .

All this combined in one is my daily tools .

Sometimes it really is difficult for me to stay motivated as I find that I am always easily distracted and that does annoy me, especially if I have a lot to do. Music helps me to stay motivated. Putting on some music that I enjoy helps me stay focused and helps me relax which I really feel helps me stay motivated, too much stress and my mind tends to wonder. Taking regular breaks always helps, sometimes I will go off and clean or make myself food or even go out for a half an hour walk and come back and get back to what I was doing and I feel more refreshed, that helps me stay motivated.

What motivates me is the desire to be the best that I can be. I want to be able to accomplish the goals that I have always set for myself as a young child. Knowing that I tried my best and achieved my goals is very important to me because i truly know that I have succeeded. I'm also very self-motivated, I want the best for myself and I want to know deep down in my heart that I left this world a strong independent individual. Money motivates me, having the opportunity to have the finer things in life and the luxuries. Being very passionate with my career and working hard every single day, I know I deserve to buy my dream house and car and have the life I always dreamed of. The most important parts are being proud of myself, overcoming all of my challenges, building my self-esteem and independence. I'm very determined and I have my life planned out and I will let nothing or no one stand in the way of my hopes and dreams.

Well, the first thing that I think when I go to work is that I need the money to make my plans come true, so when I feel tired and sad because here in Venezuela the situation is very difficult, I try to think in my target, I have a plan for this end of the year and I think that I will make it if I have the motivation to do it, and I will do it guys!

What motivates me is the fact that I know I need to keep hustling to get to where I want to see myself in the future. At the same time, since I'm working from home it is very easy for me get lazy and tell myself I could do the work later. But, I try to convince myself to get back to work because in the back of mind, I know that I can just get done with my work instead of postponing it and wasting my time and I get to relax after that. However, if I lose my focus and motivation in the middle of working, I usually change the working position and shift to a different place, or I go for a short walk and catch some fresh air, listen to music and unwind for a bit. I also enjoy watching or reading inspiring stuff that will make me stop complaining about being less motivated and then I get straight back to work.

The great unknown motivates me. The fact that at any given time once I keep going and keep pushing, opportunities will open up and I will be even more inspired to reach higher and do more. I take breaks and exercise every now and then, read some books, interact with friends and just observe nature. Something as simple as taking a break and going outside and looking up in the clear blue sky is motivation. Just try it, it's unbelievable! It's like a constant reminder that you can remove the clutter with some work and as sure as the clarity, irrespective of circumstances, you can see your way to achieve your ultimate goals.

I'm always positive in anything I'm doing. The things that motivate me is those people who love me and those things that make me a better man. My family is one the motivation I have to continue fighting and survive every day. I want to give my wife and siblings and better future someday. I don't want them to experience what I did. They are the best part of me that makes me continue improving myself. They are my strength and weakness.

Family and friends are definitely the biggest motivation a person could have! I am not the kind of person that feels motivated for money. I could have the easiest job and being able to make a lot of money... but if it's not something I really like to do and I am passionate about I won't have enough motivation.

For me seeing other people succeed motivates me a lot. And also the amount of money I am leaving on the table seems to be good as well. That being said, motivation is hit and miss some of the time. You have to build on top of small achievement to reach where you want to reach. But it does not come that easy. it takes alot of time. And have to work really hard in that case as well. So we have to work around with the motivational points for this to work. I think for me it's flip and flop. Some days full of motivation and other days it may not.

When a customer leaves a good review on my site this motivates me to work harder and look for better ways to please my customers. An increase in sales due to an advertising campaign motivates me too. This means that I have used the correct advertising strategies. I equally like it when a customer tells me that someone has referred them to my business. Seeing my business grow into a profitable one is yet another thing which motivates me.

What motivates me are the small achievements, appreciation, and recognition that I've been enjoying for jobs that I didn't even realize I'm capable of doing. This inspires me to work harder, improve my skills, and explore more uncharted territories. I am also motivated by the fact that I have been contributing significantly to my family's finances and that my efforts have helped secure my loved ones' future.

What motivates me is the money I will be making from the job, then the appreciation from a client, then recognition and recommendation from a client. With this, I will be motivated.

Just like the others in the comments, I am also motivated by money. I remember a saying that “money talks” which means you can convince or persuade someone to do something just because of money. In that case, it is like bribing the person to do something that he doesn’t want but he is motivated by the money you are offering so he will do it. That’s the power of money. However, it’s not all money for me. Dignity and principle are also taken into consideration.

My motivation comes from being passionate in my work. I love what I'm doing, so it's like just having fun and I really don't consider it work, I look at it as a hobby.
