A theory: Setting up an autoresponder to promote your services to emails you recieve.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm not 100% sure if it would work because I'm not an email campaign "Guru" lol. So I'm posting here to see if anyone can help me out A theory: Setting up an autoresponder to promote your services to emails you recieve.

My theory, or method, is that I can set up an auto responder on one of my emails so that I can have an email sent out to anyone who emails me. I know it's possible to set up an auto responder for something like this, but I'm not sure how many emails can be sent out per hour.

My idea is to set up a specific email, one I won't be responding to very often, and go around to sign up for countless newsletters using this auto responder email. I'll then begin to receive emails from these companies and then my auto responder will kick in. I know that my auto responder will usually just be responding to automated newsletter systems, but how often do companies read those responses to the newsletters?

Now signing up for a load of newsletters with an auto responder email won't do much if the response is just "Thanks for the info!" lol. So my idea was to put my own advertisements in the auto responder and have it sent to anyone that emails me. Do you think that could be a workable method to increase sales and help out branding? I have a physical product about to be launched in the next month or two and I was going to sign up for niche related websites that don't yet offer a product like mine and hopefully get them to respond with a bit of interest.

What my email would contain.

Hi there,

Thanks for the email! I do love what you guys are offering and I am definitely interested. I also offer something in the same niche, but nothing like your product. Actually, I don't think you currently offer something like our product on your website. We sell (insert product here) and if you'd be interested in offering it to your customers we can work something out A theory: Setting up an autoresponder to promote your services to emails you recieve.

Here's my website if you want to check it out: (Insert website here)

Thank A theory: Setting up an autoresponder to promote your services to emails you recieve.

Does that sound like it could be a viable method to increase sales? I think it could work, but I'm not very good with email campaigns lol. Obviously I wouldn't make as much money from the website owner per sale, but they would have to buy enough inventory to keep their customers happy. It would also help get my name out there quicker than building my own sales. Also, my product has my logo and domain name on it ;)

I'd really appreciate it if someone with email campaign experience could chime in on this A theory: Setting up an autoresponder to promote your services to emails you recieve.

Thanks!

E mail campaign and e mail auto responder is not same. You can do e mail campaign by collecting all of your e mails. But in case of auto responder there have possibility. Somebody can mark your product as a scam and you can be reported by search engines.

Use white hat seo only.It will give you sales.

Thanks

This is not an email campaign, just an auto responder.

This has nothing to do with SEO...

Setting up an autoresponder will require you already have the emails in a list, so if you know all the companies that will be sending you promotional offers, you can add them to your list so that when ever there is a mail from them, you can set up a response with whatever you want. But the problem is that most of these offers come from email which do not accept a reply thus making it impossible to get back to them.

Interesting theory. I am not sure how some niche will work though. Some niche require constantly updated new content. So that's another thing to watch out as well. I guess we have to be really understanding of how that works out. I guess in another way we learn from the promotion and marketing tactics of other people. Auto-responder is automation in short. But it is being done the right way.

Gee, that is a neat trick you have there. I agree that an autoresponder to spam emails can somehow be beneficial to you if you will indicate your link in your reply. It is like having a game of spamming versus spamming because the newsletter is considered a spam unless you are honestly subscribed to it. But if you will reply with your own link, there is a probability that the receiver may click on your link to check your website particularly if your niche is relevant to them. Unfortunately, that will not work if the receiver is also an autoresponder.
