Local offline marketing to bring companies online

Everyone is so focused with SEO and Online Marketing through PPC platforms and banner advertising that they forget to look at all the companies around them that might need some help.

The main reason I love picking up local clients is because I can meet them face to face and that always increases conversions. I would say that if I were to meet 10 people a month to get coffee and go over what I can do for their website, I would get 7 to sign up Local offline marketing to bring companies online A face to face meetup will always close at a higher rate than if you were to talk via email, skype, or even on the phone.

Whenever I get a chance, I'll sign up for newsletters for business meetups in my local area. I'll travel up to 30 miles to go to one of these because they're gold mines for SEO and Online Marketing companies Local offline marketing to bring companies online A lot of these companies may have heard of Search Engine Optimization, but they are too busy to try it themselves or they don't know how to find a good service provider. And this is right where I come in and let them know what I do and how well I can do it Local offline marketing to bring companies online

Whenever I'm talking to someone at one of these meetups I'll always go over what I do, but I won't pitch them. I will have a nice business card on hand that I can hand to them so they can look up my website later on Local offline marketing to bring companies online If you strike up conversations about random things going on in the world you're going to be building a friendship, and people won't think of you as a service provider anymore. When they look at your website they will think "Oh right, Jon Van Morisen was the guy who runs this website and service. He was a pretty awesome and insightful man" And they will call or email you in order to get in touch about signing up Local offline marketing to bring companies online

Another thing that these meetups are good for is to find people will garbage website designs or even people who don't have a website up and running! You'd be amazed at how many people I run in to at these things that have a website that looks like it was designed when the internet started. There aren't many people at these things who don't have company websites, but the ones who don't can be pitched pretty quick if you low ball even yourself Local offline marketing to bring companies online You can set them up on a wordpress theme and charge like $350. And if you know anything about wordpress, it costs around $70 for a theme and they're super easy to install Local offline marketing to bring companies online

So get offline and bring people online Local offline marketing to bring companies online

Razzy I have to agree with you on this one. I am not even an SEO expert and I am getting work in my area to help people with setting up their websites and do SEO for them.

People hear that I blog and then want to know how they can set up their website. I tell them straight I don't do it myself but I can give them a number of excellent options and give them my affiliate links. Then I start showing them how to do things I give them more affiliate links for keyword tools, hosting, domains... you name it.

My point is that network locally and in person is a great way to get business. I don't even try and I am getting local customers.

With local companies you can indeed get a good return. There is much more of an opportunity to talk things out with them in person, not just by email and other online methods, and that alone is already a huge advantage. Then there is also the fact that you can understand one another better especially if this is a small local company that is based on the customs of the area. I believe that as online specialists we tend to focus too much on online opportunities and forget all about the reality that there are tons of opportunities just a few steps away from us, maybe even in our street.

Yea,you're on point. There are a lot of companies offline that are yet to surface online and this is because the owners might not see the need to bring the companies online so someone just have to tell them the needs and why they should be online.

if one is into SEO services this will be a great opportunity to make money while bringing more companies online.

Great idea Razzy! I used to do stuff like this in the past, even have newspaper ads run for a few weeks, got some sales even.
Anyway, I like the idea of going directly to the source, business meetups in your local area, why didn't I ever thought of that?
I always see such meetups in me Facebook feed from people I know, it would be the easiest thing in the world to get an invite or just show up at the meeting.

Also, great touch with no pitching right away and just developing a relationship first, that's really classy!

Any kind of marketing, offline marketing or online marketing, helps to promote your business whether it is online or offline. You never know where your customers are concentrated, therefore, you should always try online and offline marketing. The ideas presented by the OP are really interesting and useful. I am yet to try these strategies, however, I am sure these strategies will help me in driving sales and bringing more customers.

I am not comfortable with offline marketing because it needs a lot of effort unlike in online marketing where you just post your advertisement. But I understand that offline marketing is more effective if you get the right audience. For example in our village, some businesses would post advertisements when there are events. People who attend will get to see the tarpaulin of the business and more often the store or office is just nearby so they get a lot of new clients.
