How to get Reddit upvotes on your Reddit posts?

Hello all. Reddit can be a powerhouse for traffic and rankings in many different ways. If you manage to get on the Reddit homepage (The front page of the Internet), well you better make sure that your server can handle that! You can get an insane amount of traffic if that happens and it stays there for a while!

What I'd like to ask is if anyone uses Reddit and how they go about getting upvotes on their Reddit posts? I know that best way to submit a link and all of that. And if it's unique and it's appealing to people then it will naturally get a lot of upvotes.

But there are also some Reddit upvote groups and communities on Facebook. Several on Google+ and several forums that do upvote4upvote and the like. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any of those forums that do that sort of thing? Any Internet Marketing forums perhaps that have Reddit Exchange or Reddit upvote threads that you know of?

Or is there some other way of getting upvotes on your Reddit posts that you know about and use that you would care to share with the community here and the rest of us that would like to know? How to get Reddit upvotes on your Reddit posts?

Thanks!

Mike.

I don't know about any exchange upvotes communities out there for Reddit. The best thing you can do from my perspective is to understand the board you are going to do the promotion on. Most boards on Reddit have their own internal "culture" and you need to speak and think like them before you do any type of promotion, otherwise, it will all backfire as Reddit users can be very aggressive once their figure out bullcrap or they think something's fishy.

Make sure whatever you are promoting can actual help the average user with some real value, even if it's just information, it needs to be valuable.

Mike I have found Reddit to be a pain in the ass. I got flame grilled there a few years back for being a "self promoter"...

Like who isn't a self promoter right? Just some people have been playing around there for ages, pretending not to be self promoters so that they have earned their right to self promote?

Anyway I don't like the way I was flame grilled there so I have this resentment thing going on. I also don't have time to spend building up my reputation there as a non self promoter so that I can then be a self promoter.

That said I have been trying to master Reddit in some way over the years. Usually by purchasing services here to get other people to share my content lol.

Anyway just two days ago I started getting lots of traffic from Lifehacker.com, Reddit and also Pinterest. Something is happening, I'm just not quite sure what it is... and I didn't do it LOL.
