So many sellers have asked how to get their services noticed here at SeoClerks and how to make more sales.
Each and every time I have suggested to be active here in the community discussions because not only will creating a new discussion earn you a free bump for your services but you also get noticed by people browsing the discussions.
Of course I have seen some appalling discussions added before obviously just for the purpose of a free bump, but if you actually take part and engage with others in a meaningful way and add value to the community discussions you will be noticed and your profile will be looked at.
This has just been proven to me since a member has inboxed me asking to do a service... oh and I don't have any services on my profile at all, I am a buyer here!
It sounds like a really fun job and it is totally in line with what I do so I have quoted and we will see...
Whether I get the job or not is irrelevant to this discussion but I wanted to let you all know the value of joining in here!
So yes let's get chatting!
That's pretty awesome
I haven't been so lucky to get people to message me on here wanting me to help them with the websites, optimization or lead generation But that may be due to the fact that my lowest service costs $550+ I'm like you, I don't sell on here either, I'm just a buyer looking for the next great service I can have set up for my website
Do you think you'll set up a service and run it for the person who messaged you? I'm sure you would do a great job and get a positive review of the service. In turn this could be your start to becoming a popular seller on SeoClerks lol It's like a blessing in disguise, or something along those lines lol.
Are you sure you want to delete this post?
Thanks Razzy, yes unfortunately I can't afford services like yours yet, but I would jump at the chance if I could afford you
Yes I am honestly quite flattered that I was inboxed like that, honestly what a cool feeling!
Yes I will add a custom service here if that buyer accepts my quote
That's cool Lynne!
I think this is the time to start your career as a freelancer here on SEOClerks. Go for it Lynne, simply add some extra time to your services if you think that you will need more time to complete them, and that's nothing wrong with it.
Everything depends by you, and I clearly understand that the time is very limited, specially with kids, but personally I would say that you can create a service only for your client, that means that is a custom service only for your client, I'm sure that doing this wouldn't take too much from your time.
Yes that is true, I would have to add extra time and that was what I was thinking of doing. Most of the time I will be able to complete quite quickly, but then you add in a bad day with kids and everything comes crashing down LOL. I need to accommodate for those days!
I have had several potential buyers inbox m e with messages that they need me to do some seo services for them at certain prices. it is really a good thing to experience such due to my constant participation in this forum for over 2 years now. but lynne, i will like to know how you made mosey here on seoclerks since you say you dont offer any services? is it through AFFILIATES? or any other means?
I buy services here and I have started affiliate marketing too. I mostly make my money from my blogs but I am also a moderator here
I hope that answers your questions
That's just great Lynne. I agree with you that many members do take a look at discussions and see what is posted here, and who makes regular valid suggestions and comments and not. I also got a couple of buyers who got to know about me through community discussions, and there have also been a few who just sent a message to ask a question and I did not mind giving them a helping hand to get used to the site. I suggest you put up that service this potential buyer needs, as maybe you might get sales from others too! ;)
I put that custom service up and I just received my first order this morning! Quite exciting
Yes indeed. Here here! It's the same with using any website, blog or social networking site. If you want people to trust and respect you and see you as an authority in some certain subject on that site, you need to participate in that site in some way. No participation = no followers and no interest and nobody even knowing about you. Sure you can promote your services in many ways online. Run SEO and SMO campaigns on them. Promote them on social media, forums, blogs and all sorts. But by being active in that community around that site (such as the SEOClerks Community Discussions) you can build up a name for yourself and build up respect as well. Then that way people are going to be much more likelier to trust you and purchase from you if they can see you are talking about things they are interested in and they can see you actually know what it is you're talking about as well. That's what I find anyway!
And I hope you do put some services up soon Lynne. I think people trust you because you have made a name for yourself on here (proving my point). In that if you participate and post quality, valuable content here, then people are going to respond to that postively.
Thanks Mike I appreciate that!
As you know I do want to start adding some services here but I have been hesitant mainly due to my time constraints. Writing for my own three websites and managing them all on my own in addition to all the additional marketing and tasks that need to be done takes up almost all my time. Add in being a mom and only having about 3-4 hours in the morning during the week to work undisturbed does not equal having any free time LOL.
If I offer services I want to make sure I don't disappoint anyone by giving orders late.
This is the benefits of active participation in discussions and creating new discussions. I mean that can help some members discovered what you do or plan to do and by so doing, they will be interested in working with you. Big congrats on getting your first job over here.
