Would you work if you didn't need to?

Imagine you suddenly won the lottery or perhaps a distant relative that you don't even know (just to keep this post happy) dies and leaves you an insane amount of money. I won't say how much but let's just say for the sake of this discussion you will be able to live comfortably for the rest of your life without worrying about a thing. You will be able to support your family and give you children a good education.... and there will even be enough left over to leave in your will for your kids when you die.

Ok you get the picture?

Would you still work or would you just be a person of leisure? If you keep working will you stay with what you are doing or would you change direction completely?

If you stop working what will you do with your time?

I would not work any longer if fact this is a interesting topic because in 7 years i plan to do just that. I have a ten year plan that will set me for life by the time i turn 35. I will no longer want to work but i will have to manage certain things, so i will work no more than 1-2 hours a day and not on weekends by the time im 35 and make a 7 Digit income yearly. My goal is to raise my children and be around for them whenever they need me. I want to take my family places like France, Italy, Bali, Jamaica, and MORE! i want them to see the different cultures and experience things not alot of people get to experience. I think Crypto Currency can give anyone the opportunity i have been given as long as you have discipline and you make a plan and stick to it.

I doubt I would work anymore. Even though I get satisfaction from my work I mainly work to earn money. If I were to have a lot of money, I would decide to spend my time doing other things that i like such as more time with my family, and maybe volunteer work that gives more satisfaction than monetary earnings. I would also travel more, and be able to go shopping more as then I won't have to worry about not having enough money to buy things I fancy at the store. I like my job, but I would prefer a more relaxed life.

I think I will always work but certainly not nearly as hard as I work now. I would keep my company and I would outsource a lot of my work.

I will probably start doing a lot of unpaid projects though. I would love to make a difference to the lives of young moms in my country by teaching them how to make money online. I would also spend a lot more time working with drug addicts and their families.

When I stop working is the day I die lol! I pick jobs only that I really like to do and I find fascinating. However, as a musician, I would probably spend more time on my music which is work like everything else. It's funny how musicians never really retire look at Willie Nelson to name one.

Oh yes I think that way too. There is only so much shopping, dining and traveling one can do before you start wanting some satisfaction and feeling of self-worth right?

I would definitely quite freelancing and real work altogether. I'm not fussy if I can have enough money for a decent living I will dedicate my time to reading, studying and maybe starting something at some point, but only something I'm really passionate about.

After seeing poverty and loneliness. I guess working would be lot better for my health. And it will also keep my engaged too. I have found that some of the time one has to work longer. And that can set the tone for the life. So working harder all the time is the right way to approach the life.

I am always in the need of money and that's the reason I should be working no matter the circumstances surrounding it. I wouldn't mind working at any moment that I want to do so.

Let's say I had inherited a huge wealth of money and property. Why would I spend time to work? That's my remark to rich people who keeps on earning money when they have more than enough already. For me, I can so many other things like helping the environment or joining an advocacy group for the protection of animals.
