While joining Adsense, every participant have to agree with it's terms of services and obey them, while it's not case with appearing your website on Google search, so there is no direct connection when it's about banning some website from Adsense and / or Google. But it also depend why is some website banned, so it can probably happen in some cases that some website is banned on both. I had some blog which was banned by Google (for some time) and not banned by Adsense (and vice versa), so it's independent cases due to different TOS and rules.

I've actually experienced a Google Adsense ban and I can help you with an answer: No, Google won't ban your entire account. Just the Adsense part.

And believe me, I've done a lot of bad stuff before getting banned, like using proxies and bots to click my own ads, shady stuff like that. But I was very young and very stupid. They say you only get one chance with Adsense and that's probably true, for the next 4-5 years after getting banned I've tried to gain a real Adnsese account back, with my own real name. I've written a lot of messages to Google and I never gave up.

Finally, one day, they just allowed me to create another account with my real name and real address and they accepted my Adsense account.

Final Note: Whatever you do, keep that Adsense account clean and don't get banned. That may be the only chance you get!

Hi Christian,
You said that you had done a lot of bad stuff before getting banned, like using proxies and bots to click my own ads, and shady stuff like that. I had an AdSense account banned and I know for a fact that the competition used proxies and bots to click on my ads to get the account banned. This is a slick way to take out the competition. I have talked with a lot of people that have had their AdSense account banned, usually they are in fiercely competitive markets and there is a pattern that emerges once you look deeper into this. I also know for a fact that the competition was/is doing this because a few of us did a test with 3 clean AdSense accounts. We set up 3 separate websites in the same market where this originally occurred using different sets of keywords so no overlap occurred. We set up a false flag operation and did everything clean by not sending traffic of any sort to the sites, obviously, no use of proxies or bots were used. We just let the sites sit and guess what? All 3 accounts were banned in about a month. We started talking to a lot of people who had their account banned who also claimed that they too didn't do anything wrong or by clicking on their own ads. I believe the majority of them because most were not tech savvy and didn't even know about proxies and bots. I too wrote a lot of communications to Google but finally gave up in total frustration. No response or automated responses from Google was the best I could get in my attempts to address the issue. I even called Google's number in Mountain view, CA multiple times but to no avail. I don't think Google has any way to stop or combat this issue mentioned above. I am amazed that you spent 4-5 years attempting to get an account back. Seems like an excessive amount of time. Again my frustration with Google's BS got me to the point where I said, the heck with it and decided to build my own advertiser and publisher platform. It is currently under development and will launch soon. It will be a wonderful alternative to Google.

Oh I would be pissed off if someone sabotaged me like that. I get that business is cut throat and all that, but I really do think businesses should behave in an ethical way to build their business instead relying on dodgy tactics!

I struggled to get my Adsense approved even without a ban it took about 6 months of back and forth trying over and over again to get an account. I tried each of my websites about 10 times before I also just mysteriously suddenly got approved without any issues. Go figure?

I also don't like that way that you can't actually talk to anyone or get a response in any way from Google. My personal feeling here is that Google is just all too powerful and I hope others come and give them a run for their money at some stage. They are a company just like everyone else. They should have customer service in place but they just don't care because they are in charge.

You can't fix the world and people will always do desperate things. Have you ever noticed that people tend to gravitate to the dark side just because it is easier? It is a shame but it will always be so.

Hi sanfora thanks for your question. I think if your adsense account ban by Google, Google will not ban entire account like Gmail account. I do not know did you mean Gmail account or not? But if Google find any violation for adsense account, they can ban your publisher adsense account and that publisher account will not affect your main Gmail account. You can still operate Gmail. But for further getting approval for adsense, you never use same Gmail again. And Google also ban for some specific website either entire account. For example: if you use adult site for publishing ad.
