There are plenty of ways to make money from the comfort of your own home if you have an internet connection. One of those ways is by being an online gamer. You don't even have to be good at the game lol. If you can make the game fun, people will come in by the masses and watch your videos.


A few ways to make money from gaming

• Streaming - If you have a web cam or a camera that plugs into your playstation or xbox you can stream. All you have to do is go on twitch.tv and sign up. After you configure your account you can link it to your console and begin streaming You make money when someone donates to you after a nice head shot, something funny you said, or if they just want to be the top donator on your page lol. This takes time, but it works well with some gamers since they make $500+ a day doing this.
  
• YouTube - You can upload your gaming videos to youtube and optimize them in order to get more views. If you're signed up to get paid per measure (1 measure is 1,000 views) you can make a bit of passive income off of this. I've heard that some people are making $5 per 1,000 views by doing this. So if you get 100,000 views on a video in one month that's $500 just by posting your 10 minute gameplay to YouTube You can also do montages of all your highlights that month in a certain game. These tend to get a good amount of views because it's not just your stream and it's also set to music with the screen fading in and out to make it look prettier
  
• Sponsors - If you get a big enough following you will gain some sponsors. These sponsors will either pay you an agreed upon amount of money or they will give you free gear to wear during your stream. You will also have to push their gear since that's usually one of the terms as becoming a sponsored player.
  
• Tournaments - Some players are making serious money by winning tournaments. Competitive games typically have tournaments after the game gets big enough. Some gamers are making $100,000 per tournament if they win
